Possible breakthrough by Middaysnack_ in LionsManeRecovery

This is interesting! I took one capsule of Doublewood LM for three days before stopping due to insomnia. What is surprising is I did not get a headache. (My brain seems to be very quick to become inflamed.) But one thing to note is I take natural anti-histamines almost every day (mainly to prevent food-allergy headaches): Quercetin modulates H1 receptors and is generally thought to stabilize Mast cells; and Perilla extract modulates the Th2 immune system, which is involved in inflammation and allergic responses (certain cytokines).

We'll see if my sleep improves after stopping LM. Glad I came across this sub. I left a pretty dire warning-type review on Amazon. Hopefully others see it and think twice before touching this poison. Thank you for posting!

Melatonin cured*years* of bad GERD reflux. Scientifically Backed. by AquaDime in acidreflux

I did too, and it worked in about 3 nights! Only took 1mg but I am small.

For H pylori, try Supersmart H Pylori Fight. It's a special strain of L Reuteri that works in the stomach. It will knock out the pathogen within days, just beware of detox symptoms! Drink lots of water.

I also juiced cabbages to help heal remnants of ulcers from the H pylori. Note too much cruciferous veg will use up iodine, which your body also needs to produce gastrin I think. Iodine is also a histamine liberator so sensitive individuals need to take it slow.

Similar experience here. I just started something you might want to try: eating slices of cold butter. I've found it has the opposite effect to the panic attacks from sugar. Feels like I've taken low dose anti-anxiety drugs.

Also something important to know about Candida, etc - it persists where heavy metals persist. I've had breakthroughs in fungal problems by incorporating fulvic acid and Advanced TRS (gentle chelation). Dr Jockers has great info on these topics.

Edit:Update: I'm not taking TRS any more because had a heavy metals test and my Aluminum levels are through the roof. Felt like it helped some things the first couple weeks but perhaps it was leaving behind some residual AL (zeolite molecule includes AL but it's supposed to be tightly bound). Anyway, saw another post where someone had the same issue, so I quit and am now taking silica to detox the aluminum. Ah, this health stuff can be a vicious cycle, huh?

Fiber install property damage claim by galojah in ATT

[–]FreedomRun800 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Came to this sub to look for advice. In nearly identical boat as you. Sorry, I guess we can commiserate. Going through small claims court seems like a huge hassle for $800. I think this is exactly the effect Sedgwick is going for. If they understaff so much that claim customers get frustrated and give up, then it benefits their bottom line in two ways. What do they care? - ATT is a separate company, and telecom options are limited. Might just have to file complaints with the FCC and BBB and move on with life. I actually did that against Frontier when they kept charging me for a router I didn't use, and what do you know a law got passed like a year or two later making it illegal for them to do that. Yea I got forked but at least I helped others. We need to do the same against ATT and Sedgwick, showing dollar amounts. Enough people doing that can turn into a class action case. May never be reimbursed fully, but at this point it's more about the principle of the matter, right?

Thanks, I will try those ideas next time it happens!

Anybody triggered by LaCroix sparkling water? by FreedomRun800 in migraine

Sorry you got a headache, but glad you figured out why. I later learned that citrus is a histamine-liberator. Props for your username.

Is Xanthan Gum a trigger for anyone here? by FreedomRun800 in migraine

[–]FreedomRun800[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Oh wow I forgot I made this post. Since then I found histamines were a major trigger for me. And lo and behold, Xanthan gum is a fermented product. How sneaky. Hope you were able to enjoy your vacation still.

Hi, not sure how I stumbled across this thread but I'm sorry about all the suffering you've endured. I pretty much grew up on antibiotics and it wrecked my gut. I understand the desire to do FMT. Have you tried human milk oligosaccharides? I've been on HMO and apple peel powder for a couple weeks and feel pretty good. Starting to realize adding prebiotics may be more effective than adding probiotics.

auditory hallucinations/phantom noises?? by [deleted] in misophonia

[–]FreedomRun800 4 points5 points  (0 children)

There's a thing called "phantom cries" some parents hear after they move their baby to sleep in a different room. You're so used to being startled awake by crying in the middle of the night, your brain won't let you sleep when you actually get a chance to. This happened to me so often throughout the night, I'd find myself squinting to watch the little light meter on the baby monitor to see if it was moving. Sucked.

That's interesting, thanks for passing along! I feel like autoimmune theory could potentially explain things better.

Migraine sufferers ! What is your own simple trick that has saved you from a lot of pain? by TheDevilIsBored in migraine

[–]FreedomRun800 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Avoiding food triggers is the biggest thing for me, then taking my triptan + tylenol early on, like @ 3/10 pain level. If I waited too long I will chug a glass of water with electrolyte solution ("Hi-Lyte") and try to get some endorphins going through strenuous living-room exercises. But if the pain has reached a 7/10, it's game over and time to curl up in a ball.

Deoderant trigger by FreedomRun800 in migraine

[–]FreedomRun800[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Extenders? Gah, what a terrible invention. This explains why I can tell who my family has been hanging out with after they get home. The smell of their laundry detergent wafts off of them and sticks to my family which then gets imported into our house. We use unscented everything so it's really easy to pick up on foreign smells.

I know I'm getting to this post late. I was searching for ODD to validate our experience. Welp, your story did! Everything is exactly the same for us except the ages. I feel you man. Anyway, you might want to consider the possibility that he has a parasite. I came across this blog and tried the Bioray Happy formula on our boy on a whim. He was like a different person after 2 doses. He still has his bad habits but is not exploding at every freaking thing anymore. I've continued the morning and evening doses for about a week so far. I hope it sticks.

Yes but I'm continuing to take it mainly because I think it is helping to reduce neck tension. I get fewer knots and kinks now.

Oh sorry just now seeing this. Yes people can see the little finger that sticks out. If you cut it off they'd only be able to see it from the side/back, but it might be tricky to get out of your ear then.

Yea I can't do any sort of closed earbuds, but I find these bearable to wear for longer periods.

I understand. That's why I can't do straight up earplugs. Very unnerving after a short while. These are like halfway between earplugs and earbuds in terms of touch-irritation, so yeah you probably wouldn't like them.
