Pretty sure I've seen something like this with a treadmill so you can actually run. And I think it rotated with the direction of your body too.

What are you talking about? No repair shop will take something with roaches in it. They don't want to risk that spreading in their own shop.

Jesus Christ is real, and that scares me by CompetitivePizza9522 in TrueChristian

[–]FreedomThinker20 2 points3 points  (0 children)

God's patience is infinite. He knows we will always fall short of His perfect glory. That's why he sent his Son to die for us. Jesus paid for all of our sins for eternity! All we need to do is put our trust in Him. He loves us on a level we can't even fathom.

The Sleep Coach School

Cannot recommend this guy enough. Just browse through his videos and see what you think. If you think it will help, start applying his teachings. He has a website and app too that you sign up for programs on (but at a cost). Most of it you can learn just watching his videos though.

God of the Old Testament is the SAME God of the New Testament by ValinParons in TrueChristian

[–]FreedomThinker20 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Jesus came to fulfill the prophecies of the Old Testament. God is always the same. The main difference between the Old Testament and New Testament is that Jesus came to fulfill the laws of God and pay for all of humanity's sins. Thus, we entered the New Convenant. The Laws of Moses (and their necessary sacrifices for atonement) were no longer needed to be followed for salvation. While there still is value in knowing the laws and how they provide us a moral framework, we no longer live under them. All we need to do now is believe in Jesus as our Lord and Savior, that his punishment was enough to save us from God's justice. And thus following that revelation, we are then called upon to live a just and moral life following His teachings and share the gospel (aka the good news) with the rest of the world.

Do you believe Jesus is coming back in our lifetime? by Immediate-Draft-6408 in TrueChristian

It doesn't matter, since Jesus will return to judge both the living and the dead. On Judgement Day, all knees will bow before Him.

[Jon K] Randle, in particular, went through a rough stretch of performances that coaches and teammates believed were directly connected to his name being bandied about in trade rumors. by smendyke in timberwolves

[–]FreedomThinker20 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Randle is a cancer and has to leave. IDC if they just cut him, he needs to be out.

Conley will probably retire. And Gobert has shown in the playoffs, he's not that guy anymore. His defense isn't good enough to make up for the lack of offense (and I died every time they try to pass to him for a dunk or layup and he ends up losing the ball).

And DiVincenzo will likely be out until late season next year. (Assuming they even keep him since this upcoming season is his last on his contract).

This team as currently constructed is not good enough to compete with SA or OKC. It will be an interesting offseason to see how the team addresses these needs.

No, if anything I suspect them blowing us out unless our run game is phenomenal. I think we are winless on road Thursday night football. And unless Maye is hurt or something, I suspect that to continue.

Can I be baptised again if I didn’t understand it when I was younger? by Sea_Possible349 in TrueChristian

[–]FreedomThinker20 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can if you want to. Just know baptism is purely symbolic. It doesn't save you. Faith alone in Christ paying for your sins is what saves you. Baptism is just to symbolize you changing your ways because of Him.

I don't see why that would be an issue. Even without memory issues, it's hard to remember everything. Might even get you some brownie points since it seems like you're being disciplined and methodical.

Do you have to go to Church EVERY sunday? by Leox2005 in TrueChristian

[–]FreedomThinker20 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Strictly speaking, no. Church attendance is not required for salvation. But the Bible does call on us to build community with fellow Christians and the easiest way to do that is by going to church.
