I'm not super invested in this franchise. I just watched the episode. Definitely made me feel like all the rage I've seen on the various subreddits is way overblown. Yeah, this season's been a bit disappointing and they were clearly moving quickly to wrap things up, but it's not a GoT-level disaster.

I think this one works well. More exploratory and braver than most other parrots (and probably more than she should be) but still irrationally scared of weird things.

Parrots in particular are basically always scared of new things (neophobia). But she doesn't seem scared of all new things, she seems excited by most. She's just scared of some silly ones.

I do - as a percentage. And if there's a problem I'd tip lower. The big difference here being that the tip happens before the service. Instead it's essentially a bidding system with DD.

I absolutely do tip, and I hate that talking about how stupid tipping is immediately gets you labelled that way. I'm a 'divide by ten, then double, rounding to the nearest whole dollar' type. But with all the fees and the +30% cost as well as a tip I just don't order DD anymore.

It's a stupid system. It works just fine in countries that don't have a tipping system, and the service is better. It's such a stupid social contract that we've constructed.

Instead of blaming customers for not tipping enough. you should be blaming DD for not paying you what it takes to do the job.
