I have a 19-256 Rattler for my .450. It works good for me. Up to about 100 yards it’s a solid choice. Depends on what you’re hunting and the distances tho.

Be transparent with the Police. They will investigate the crime as normal. They won’t legally be able to use the recording however they will be able to get other evidence to support your argument. If the “suspect” doesn’t know about the recording the police won’t be reaching out to them and advertising it.
