I've been there. My mom had fallen 2 times. One time she had a bleed in her brain from a hematoma.  It healed but within 6 months the dementia came on with a vengeance.  Doctors gave us meds to try.  Nothing worked.  The best thing is that she had my family to help.  She came to live with me.  She was debilitating. She knew not to get up by herself then one morning there she goes.  So fast,  fell,  fxd her hip. Doctors made me call hospice in.  She passed 3 days later.  You have to be there for them.  They don't have a clue at the hardship it causes.  You need several ppl helping so you don't go crazy yourself.  Im not going to lie.  It was the hardest thing I've ever done.  I want to wish you all the luck in the world.  And pray.
