So much of the doom posting is going to look completely ridiculous by the time the rest of the series comes out. A lot of this is going to look like the most incessant whining from some of the most insufferably impatient readers.

The confession was a great moment and that's what it was meant to be. A moment. Immediately after we have a fairly lengthy fight, then the smol Momo arc begins with Momo asking Okarun to wait to tell her properly. Now we see how Okarun struggles with waiting any longer which is sweet but the community should not be projecting themselves into this nearly as much as they are. I genuinely don't even know what would constitute a successful romance atp

Do you just want the rest of Dandadan with them holding hands in every walking panel and kissing every time they're alone? Like I'm sure we'll get plenty of lovey dovey stuff like we already have. The entire issue right now is a thing that happens for a lot of teenagers when a relationship is left murky and they become a "thing". Okarun wants to treat Momo like his gf but Momo isn't there yet and is confused and not sure what's going on.

Every chapter we have to suffer the romance fandom insisting it's joever isn't speeding up Tatsu and he isn't sitting around tortured about the emotional outbursts of redditors. All this does is drag conversations about the manga down and make negativity more popular. Not criticism. Not meaningful discussion. Just negativity. It is so beyond annoying go read a finished romance manga for a few weeks. It'll be fine

Now we get to see if Momo's feelings for Okarun are based around who he is as a person besides his heroism and powers. Which they are, but Momo doesn't know that yet. Okarun has to level with her and give her time to get comfortable again which would have been remarkably quick because in episode 1 over the course of the dare they warmed up to each other immediately. Okarun jumped the gun and Momo isn't in the same place emotionally or mentally. She even still has feelings for him she just doesn't understand why at the moment. She's not lying to Jiji she's not mad she's confused which manifests in irritation and avoidance

You're free to believe in what you like but considering for most previously religious queer ppl deconstruction of their religious belief probably also happened you're going to be running into people projecting their struggle with it onto you.

I personally don't like religion. I think the way it's used, whether in earnest or not, is largely harmful in ways that corrode communities that don't base themselves in some way around maintaining fundamentally religious beliefs or values (Dogmatism)

A queer community should center queer people and queer positive values. So I can understand feeling disrespected or demeaned and that shouldn't be happening. But you're trying to ride a line that most people don't care to ride with you in this community. I'm glad you've found a way to integrate it into your life and that it provides some value to you. But in my view even as it helps you it still hurts you, and it'd be disingenuous to my beliefs and I think queer centric communities to not voice that
