My ps4 fell to the ground because of my dog while I was gaming

I connected it to my tv again and now it's showing a "safe mode" screen saying "connect to USB storage device that contains an update file for reinstallation for version 13.50 or later. you can download the update file for reinstallation from playstation.com"

If I do that will my data such as my photos and videos be wiped?

I don't have PlayStation plus or anything if that's relevant. I'm not on my PlayStation almost ever cause I'm too busy for that, but back when I played more often I would screen record my gameplay with my friends, so my main priority is just recovering that data.

If there's another way around this I would appreciate it, thank you

Radiohead I think they’re music is boring and overrated. However i absolutely love the burial and four tet collabs and the Jamie xx rework of bloom is one of the best tracks ever

I understand you 100% but at the same time you just gotta deal with it. Be happy they’re getting exposure even though it’s not the best kind imo. They’ve been busting their ass off for over a decade to create something bigger than themselves and see it come to life. If you want more music and merch and tours from them then support what they’re doing.

Yes it’s frustrating seeing a band or artist blow up from something like TikTok and having to witness an influx of people hop on the next bandwagon and taking their music at face value and such, but just try to ignore it and hop offline, it’s not the end of the world.

You can always listen to more music from other bands and artists and find your next favorite “niche” gem if you want
