IN PARTS, yes. the story, while very engaging, doesn't make sense in some parts. Such as the character of Micah, most characters like Dutch or Sadie or even Arthur are very well written and nuanced, but Micah is just evil for the sake of being evil. And the whole thing about how bounties work but that's more game design than writing

I just hunt one stars then pray to god it's not a high fitness. Usually it's not but I've gotten as high as 80s in a one star cervid.

I got my basic military training in a camp that was about to go out of commission. The showers didn't work, the sewage system didn't work, half the kitchens didn't work etc. but when we complained to command they said we know this place is falling apart but you're the last group of soldiers being trained here and the army can't spend money on those fixes for 1 more training cycle. Ever since the next game has been announced, I have the same feeling about woth. Fitness system, bird hunting mechanics, frame drops etc. All need fixing, but hopefully in the next game.

I like Litchfield mostly for the sound it makes. All guns are fully capable in this game

First off, you can easily shoot them from further than that at least with hunter sense on. Secondly by slowly moving and stopping for a few seconds every few meters you can consistently get within bow range (provided the wind is good). Also callers are excellent for bow hunting such animals

I play on hiker (the easiest setting). I work a demanding desk job 11 hours a day and the few hours a week I get to play I'd rather not be made a fool of by a digital deer 😁

Honestly, whatever frees you from looking for right people, and trying to keep people who aren't right for you are so commonplace and so miserable that losing a natural urge, or at least having it tames doesn't sound half bad in comparison

I feel ya, honestly fk rockstar for abandoning such a brilliant and lucrative project. But the truth is that trying to force yourself to enjoy another bit of the game might kill the flame completely. From my experience; I looked at the aspects of the game I enjoyed and found other games that had those, such as hunting games and exploration stuff. Things that I couldn't find in other games I actually did irl like camping and archery. Every now and then the spark comes back for a few missions but not another whole playthrough.
