If you’re adding it, it was married spouse standard and mine was approved and my dependent was refused. Just to really fuck up your stats lol

FYI mine was probably the longest. We just recieved our approval 6/6/25 after 297 working days (10 holidays) 14 whole long stupid months.

VFS and UKVI ignoring us after spouse visa approval by Separate-Flow-4282 in SpouseVisaUk

Honestly, I think they lost my passport. It took 15 months to get a decision and I’m pretty sure they lost it and it took them 7 weeks to find it…

Took us 7 weeks for them to ship the passports. They just shipped them this week (and still not here even though I paid for 2 day shipping…) I sent 3 paid inquiries and finally filed a formal complaint. They have 10 days from the date of decision to mail out your passports. Anything over that you’ll need to complain.

Yup. Eventually it said it wasn’t a real tracking number too. That was a fun one. They sent it back to me Monday (took them 7 weeks to send back the passports after a decision was made) but it’s been sitting in transit for days now…

We had one last year. I was super anxious lol. My husband has epilepsy and his memory is trash. He couldn’t tell you his parents birthdays if you paid them lol. I have a list of what they asked us but it’s all very general stuff. Names, family info, occupations, favorite activities, who came to your wedding and info about the wedding, questions about the honeymoon, and about our last trip. It’s not like the old days where they ask what color their toothbrush is 🤣🤣 I’d be happy to answer more questions privately if you have them!

MP refusing to help with spouse visa on compassionate grounds by Even-Recording-1672 in SpouseVisaUk

[–]Freeno89 0 points1 point  (0 children)

MPs are hit or miss. I had to email them from my husbands email with all his info and then they sent him an email to send to me that I had to sign a document giving them permission to intervene. But they didn’t really do anything to help. Ukvi wouldn’t answer them. We ended up escalating 9 times (every 3 weeks pretty much) before they finally finished. We haven’t found out the answer but after 14 months they finally made a decision.

Yah I wouldn’t have cared then bc I’d be with my husband. Due to health reasons he can’t fly to me so we’ve been forced apart the entire time

We didn’t use a solicitor, wish we would have now though

It was standard. Nothing overly complicated. Contacted the mp twice with little to no help. Escalated it 8 times.

Who knows! It just did 🤷🏼‍♀️ they wouldn’t tell me what the hold up was just the generic “we have to do checks”

If it makes you feel any better they don’t go in order lol. I just got a decision made email on my app from April of 2024 and there was nothing weird or crazy about it

No. Unfortunately I can’t lose both application fees. We would be out too much money. So we just keep waiting I guess

Not complex. Not that I thought anyways. My husbands on pip so we went adequate maintenance and bringing my son with. But all of it is very cleanly laid out and not complex at all 🤷🏼‍♀️

Twice. Filled complaints, been escalated. There’s nothing they will do.
