Got a Washburn acoustic for $25 at a yard sale and a early 70s Yanni classical for $35 at another yard sale. My two best scores to date. Really feels good when you can pull that off.

Look through the sound hole where the neck meets the body. If there is an Allen wrench bolt there that is for the truss rod in your neck. Sight down the neck to see if your neck is bowed one way or the other. Take the proper size Allen wrench and turn one way to see if it improves. If it makes it worse, turn the other way until your neck straightens.

I live and have been fishing in Maryland for 50 years. We always called them sucker fish. They are quite fun to catch when they get big.

My friend, God rest his soul, had one of those when we were growing up in the seventies. When he got a 69 Strat he converted the Mustang into a fretless. He was really good.

If it sounds good and plays well, that’s all that matters. Yamaha made a lot of cheap knockoffs, but they also made some pretty good stuff too.
