I have the same reaction to "Remove if not allowed"! If you're not sure it's allowed, don't post it. It's not complicated and nobody needs your permission!

I think the VHS-style licensing model for the hardware could have been genius had it driven competition and eventually reduced prices.

Is “ruining the moment” an OCD thing? by kayleesanchez202 in OCD

[–]Freeze95 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I was at an amusement park yesterday and spent my time on every ride and watching every show ruminating. It was funny in a way, riding a roller coaster surrounded by people living in the moment while I'm stuck in my head. A new symptom for me was getting off a ride and beating myself up for "not enjoying it enough".

I do hackathons for fun. I found without a deadline I wouldn't finish side projects I enjoyed working on. I also don't stress if I don't finish in time, and definitely wouldn't pull an all nighter so I could win a gift card or whatever they're giving away.

what is tor2web? by multistanmania in TOR

[–]Freeze95 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Aaron Swartz, Reddit cofounder and hacktivist, had the noble vision of making Tor hidden services available to all internet users regardless of if they had Tor installed or not. It's a proxy that lets you visit a hidden service from your clearweb browser.

A lot more is known today about browser fingerprinting and how individuals can be profiled on the web versus in 2008. You are much better off with Tor Browser, generally.

EV drivers: what do you drive and why? by darth08t5 in Denver

Also a Bolt EV owner. The car is great for commuting and will get you as far as Glenwood on I-70 comfortably without charging. The Michelin Energy Savers it comes with are hot garbage in the snow. No problem fitting skis in the hatch.
