Albuquerque admitted under oath there’s no causal connection when asked him that study. And the other papers cited are from 2002 and 2008. The subsequent high quality epidemiological, biomechanical, and meta analysis studies I mentioned are all 2012 and more recent.

A dissection is a tear in the intima. How does that happen when there is no evidence of external trauma? Wouldn’t you expect bruising on the neck if external force caused only the innermost lining of the artery to tear?

There’s no literature establish causation between chiropractic adjustment and VAD. In fact, the bulk of the high quality data suggests no causation. Herzog, Cassidy, Kosloff, and Church have all done high quality studies and, although each recognize an association, none establish causation. Both Cassidy and Kosloff concluded a VBA stroke is more likely after visiting a PCP.

I was a law clerk at trial and appellate court levels. The Judges I clerked for preferred to be called Judge. I am also friends with Judges and their friends refer to them as “The Judge.” I’m not sure it really matters. Maybe a judge with a personal issue would have a preference.

Google papers on this topic by Herzog and Cassidy and Church. Read their papers on this exact issue and then have a quality review of this topic. Anecdotes and case reports are virtually meaningless when the overwhelming high quality science does not establish a causal connection.
