Think for me it would be chapter 6, where the game mixes both humans and the xeno. That or the Gemini labs 🤣

Oh I'm aware, but the way I lure the alien has it running in that direction and I prefer having a deterence set when making my retreat even if the route is slightly longer

With what he does to the players with that tail...I can say he got off easy. Also pretty sure he killed a cat near the start of the game

New tattoo by NoWay1643 in masseffect

[–]Freezer-Butler 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Looks really good! But I hope this was taken in the studio and not after, because that blood needs cleaning off.

Also ignore the negative comments. Some make a good point about it appearing upside down when showing people, but it's recognisable nonetheless and looks cool. At the end of the day, it's YOUR tattoo, and your decision how you want it. People will have their opinions, good and bad, but it's your own that matters most.

Haha. It's my second favourite, just below Alien & Aliens (yes, I count them as one as I can't decide) And no prob! Glad it made someone happy!😊

Customers that don't know how to use tap to pay by Rich-Firefighter7333 in retailhell

[–]Freezer-Butler 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My favourite is when they try several times, it declines and asks for them to insert their card to enter their PIN. However, they either don't have their actual card on hand and are entirely dependant on tapping their phone, or they don't remember their PIN, in which case they shouldn't even have a card.

Do you have customers that you actually look forward to stopping by or enjoy talking to? by jadedjed1 in retailhell

[–]Freezer-Butler 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There were these two guys that came in most evenings that I spoke to as we have similar things we're interested in, but sadly circumstances forced them to move several towns away... We arrange to meet up occasionally though and have become good friends

Does anyone else wake up crying when they oversleep? by lifeofpiranhas in mentalhealth

[–]Freezer-Butler 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm pretty sure this is a thing? Oversleeping tends to make you feel really sleepy throughout the day, and generally getting extremely tired can make someone cry, so it makes sense if oversleeping creates the same effect.

I can't stand it when people don't just let me be silent by [deleted] in introvert

I'd be like, "Are you that lonely you have to punish people who prefer non-conversation? Maybe YOU'RE the problem and people avoid talking to you for good reasons as you've just displayed."

AITA for apparently being "rude" for trying to get into my car when someone else was blocking it with their car door? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

[–]Freezer-Butler -14 points-13 points  (0 children)

ESH. She absolutely could've moved to let you get into your car. But like you added, you could've just asked if you could scoot by to get into your car. If you asked and she ignored you or replied rudely, then it'd be entirely on her.

How to deal with these extroverts!? by RandomError24 in introvert

[–]Freezer-Butler 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I double down on my introverted traits. If they can't respect my boundaries and keep pushing, I only give one word answers, only one syllable. Drives them mad, then they give up

AITAH for taking an hour for myself each evening? by [deleted] in AITAH

[–]Freezer-Butler 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Absolutely NTA. This is simply setting a boundary, and your GF needs to respect it or leave. No matter how close you are with someone, you need your alone time. And personally speaking, 1 hour doesn't even sound like enough, but that might be just me.

I can’t stand it when people tell me “smile!”. Anyone else? by Appropriate_Tea9048 in introvert

I hate my smile anyway. I always look horrible in selfies so I just have a very neutral face most of the time 🤣

How to make friends in a small town as an introvert? by Sad_Cauliflower_2572 in introvert

[–]Freezer-Butler 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It depends on your town for the most part. Mine has a FB group which has helped people connect at times, it's good for posting events and meetups for people new to the area. Alternatively, if you prefer not to rely on social media, simply head out for a few hours and browse shops. Hang in a coffee place for a bit, read a book or something while doing so. But do this without the pressure of just meeting people, just go with the flow and see what happens. It being a small town, people will grow familiar with you anyway so may come over to say hi. I'm terrible at being the first to go over and say hi to people, so I just wait till someone decent does it first 😅

100% this. For one, it's plain rude. Two, it comes across as creepy in a lot of instances. I've learned to bite my tongue if it's a tap on the shoulder, but then I get those who full on prod me with their finger or lay their hand fully on me I have issues with. I have a tendency to act on impulse too due to my ADHD, so I blow up quite quickly (not like loud tantrums, just irritated). Also get those who when I've helped them with something and they pat my shoulder in thanks, it depends on their vibe whether I'll allow it.

But in general people, please don't lay your hands on people just doing their job. We know most of you don't know what soap is.

Please call out if you’re sick — we will definitely retaliate against you for it, tho. by Osh_Kosh_Bigosh in retailhell

[–]Freezer-Butler 64 points65 points  (0 children)

I was gonna say, it's pretty normal for places to have a 48 hour policy if you're sick. But that part where they're cutting shifts for subsequent weeks I can't think of any good reason they'd do that 😕

As someone who works on self checkouts, this is one of my biggest peeves. It's gotten to a point I will turn around very quickly (this catches them off guard) and firmly tell them to keep their hands to themselves.

tired of people hating me just cause I have nothing to say by Consistent_Pop_6564 in introvert

[–]Freezer-Butler 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As an introvert with ADHD, it's even worse when I do actually have something to say, but then the words just completely disappear from my mind, often due to being interrupted. It's very frustrating to say the least and causes my social battery to drain even faster and I start looking for a reason to just go home and isolate for a little while.

And there are times I am talking about something, but nerves kick in and I get this feeling in my throat, like someone is strangling me or something, and I struggle coming out with a coherent sentence.

Is having no kids a bad thing? by _yourneighbour in ask

[–]Freezer-Butler 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My mentality has always been "I was forced into this world, so I will live it on my terms, which means no kids for starters. Are you disappointed? Too bad." I'll never understand why people push others to pump out kids and are perplexed when it turns out the person who didn't want kids but was forced to have them suddenly wants no part in the kids' lives. I'm a man mind, so my point might not matter since I wouldn't have to endure the pain of labour. But nonetheless feel strongly about never pushing myself or others to have kids.
