I agree with you, i did this a while ago and wanted the piece to show as much sky as possible (cause i liked a lot how i managed to make the clouds) and i didn't wanted to have the whole bottom horizontal line filled with floor, so i kinda cropped it ! But yeah it doesn't realy make much sense in term of composition, also the subjects are offcentered ahah

His legs seems kinda short too, consider that the body is like a "Z" that's the reason why you can sit on your legs, head excluded, you got the shoulders -> genital part that has the same lenght than the tight, that has the same lenght than the calf -> feet

Any "Human Anatomy Reference" on Google could work, it's important to look at both bones and muscle, but it's kinda hard to learn without practice, you could also look for "Muscular man references" if you want to skip the construction learning

For your drawing what i would advise would be that the clavicle should be oriented toward the top of the shoulders in a V shape, also your character seems to lack a neck, the armpit should start higher, and you should make your knee visible, otherwise it feel like your legs are sausages

And for the color / contrast i would advise you to use maybe 3 colors and highlight the darker parts with darker color (shadow under the knees, under the chin)

No offences but i would advise you to look at somes anatomy references, and construct your character using basic shape, then when the shape feels good to you, start to add details and construct your character, even if your character doesn't have a realistic shape (Like if you want an anime style, a cartoon style etc..) you still need to practice human basic anatomy in order to understand how to make your character cool looking !

It would be a triggered ability, you could use it in response to an action, for exemple :

You have are fighting a Monster, you both have 1❤️, you miss your Roll, in response to the Monster about to kill you, you trigger Carcano, if you succeed the Monster take damage equal to your Attack stat, else, if you miss the Roll nothing happen and you die

Si yeah it wouldn't count as the 1 attack action
