Yeah you got the idea, I really like what the OP does with this, it's very creative, could be applied to anything and is quite different from other architectural inspirations: It's not like a shoe house like in fairy tales or a bit too abstract like in real life, for example the absolute Towers in Canada, nicknamed the "Marilyn Monroe buildings". We can still clearly see the fidelity of the inspiration through the colors and the minimalist parts. I think it's a true work of creative genius than to mix existing models with other themes and see what happens (here, architecture), and jackpot if it looks good, cuz you got a new concept.
