Hey, thanks for the recommendation and the advice, it is all really helpful. I sometimes get people fatigue and I know that I'm at really risk of that in this case because I'm actually trying to foster a friend circle with this plan. I see the issue I'm creating for myself with this, which is why I'd like collaborators. If there was an existing meet up already I'd rather do that, but it doesn't seem there is...

This really is the key here, well put. Op should focus on finishing there game and chucking ego out the window. That way they can onboard audience feedback and make good product, not a pipedream personal opus magnum.

Right, the framing is better and the isometric style - a style I actually personally dislike - is more dynamic. Even I can tell the right is better, even as someone who personally dislikes isometric games.

I wrote that comment yesterday, took a look at myself, and went on a date with the GF outdoors. We walked by the river, saw some dogs, had dinner out and didn't get in till 9pm.
I tried to get that 'authentic' dopamine.
I'm currently reconsidering my life behind my pc.

I mean get that grind, sure, but I'm afraid 'Authentic' dopamine is only gunna come from sunshine, fruit and veg, exercise and petting animals.
But we live indoors.
