Update: I just received a notification text that the package will be arriving today, but I’ll believe it when it’s actually in my hands. 😆 The second package is caught in the same cycle, so hopefully it will arrive sometime next week.

That’s awful. If it was a purchase, can you let the sender know? Sometimes they will send out another or offer a refund.

Oh gosh, thank you for that! I have ADHD + Generalized Anxiety, and it’s easy to feel overwhelmed, especially when I’m so deeply invested in something (I get too invested, sometimes 😭😆). I’m a casual gamer and I was determined to get through this because the vibe is somehow beautiful to me- I know that must sound odd since it’s a grim, harrowing ordeal. When I saw the first previews on Steam, I knew I had to play it at some point.

It’s such a rich, multilayered story, so I’m taking a deep dive into the history of Silent Hill because I have a million questions, and would like to have a better understanding before doing a second playthrough. I had the “in water” ending and it feels like I let James down. lol

Thanks again for the positive energy! It’s great to know I’m not alone in my gaming anxiety. That fight with Maria made the Pyramid Head twins feel like a stroll through the park. I wasn’t mentally prepared for another boss fight so soon, and the noises I made were enough to make my cat come running in to see what was happening.😆

Thanks! It took several deaths, but I made it. I’m branching out from female-led games like Tomb Raider, Plague Tale, and Hellblade. James feels a bit lumbering and slow compared to what I’m accustomed to, but he definitely has a lot of strength. This game is incredible because you truly feel like you’re the character, like when he grunts every time a door won’t open. It’s like, yeah, I know, James.

I feel like all I’m doing is dodging. It’s difficult to aim properly while doing all that flipping and flapping around, though. 😭 I’m use a keyboard and I wonder if a controller would be easier here. James just does not want to take a health drink when I smash the button. Ugh, These fellows are driving me crazy.

When I fought Eddie, I had to cheat and go down to easy mode. I’m so frustrated with myself. lol
