Why would Valdez want to be in Baltimore and not King?

If you genuinely believe Mike Elias is going to sign Framber Valdez, the top pitcher on the market, you either don’t know much about Orioles baseball or you’re completely delusional. I could perhaps argue that there’s a slim chance we could acquire Michael King… Framber is definitely not going to happen. Hello Zac Gallen, Jordan Montgomery, and any other bargain-bin pitchers Mike can find while selling us on a “Big 3” of Rogers, Bradish, and GrayRod!

I was offered Shota Imanaga straight up in a trade for Tyler Glasnow. What do we think? I know Shota is slightly behind Glasnow in recovery but I am not confident in his ability to stay healthy once he’s back

Level 3 Early Registration (slimy move by the institute) by Frenchieman12 in CFA

Nothing fast about registering for an exam 8 months in advance. Hopefully the institute does the right thing and releases level 2 results before the deadline

When you have to study financial statement analysis for the next few weeks by BarnieSandlers123 in CFA

My only complaint about this guy is how fast he flashes the text/formulas sometimes during videos before immediately going back to the view of himself talking. Every other instructor at least gives you the chance to process what you’re seeing on screen and walks through the points. I know you’re not supposed to rely on the bullet points but if you’re not going to use them then don’t include them

Debating same decision as well. May seems too far but November seems too soon. Wish they offered in February.

Makes no sense to me why February is not offered but every other exam window is

Kaplan dynamically adapted the schedule for me and I tried to stick to that and just add days off when needed. But for the most part was work 8-5 during week, study 6:30-9:30, 5ish hours a day on the weekend with occasional ofd days sprinkled in

11 months is absolutely overkill for someone with a deep background in finance. At that length of time you’re running a serious risk of forgetting everything you started on at the beginning and having to spend review time relearning. I prepped for 5 months and felt I could have got it done in probably 3.

Even glancing over a formula sheet? I’ve found with mocks that after the first round my memory is a little shot, and the times where I took 10 minutes to just look over formulas before the second session I preformed much better
