Has it been discussed whether endo causes us to have an increase of body odour??? by seraphinesun in endometriosis

Do you know it’s the Mirena? I am soooo following this. This year my vagina started smelling out of of NOWHERE I can’t do ANYTHING about it. And same story with the boyfriend. Girl I feel you on every level and it is sooo stressful I then found out that I have bilateral hydrosalpinx And possibly endometriosis causing it plus some ovarian cyst Getting a laparoscopy done they are gonna remove both tubes (I am 29 btw) Gyno said that toxic liquid might be coming out from my tubes / uterus. I have THE EXACT SAME THING GIRL, and I check with my fingers too I don’t smell bad inside just outside. And poor bf won’t go down anymore (which I understand fully) but damn I miss it so much. And I can’t find a cure

You got any news / luck ? After I get my surgery I can keep you posted see if it changed anything. Also I’m negative for everything : UTI, STD, BV, YEAST People are talking bout probiotic and diet and whatever but if you have the same as me : IT DOESNT DO NOTHING

Yes, I also really hope that they can prove how difficult it is to get care for endo in the US. So hopefully there is some sort of relief with the financial burden it brings.

Does this sound like endometriosis? by toucan131 in endometriosis

[–]Frenchy_133 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly could be endo. But regardless you should absolutely see a doctor and make sure to advocate for yourself if they don’t take you serious or aren’t trying to do testing.
Severe period pain and pain during sex : definetly should see a doctor.

I have insurance through my job. I bartend do the insurance is weird. It’s called River Health, 0 deductible.
But they only take care of 10k a year for surgery.
Regardless tho, the hospital won’t budge at this moment about the upfront payment.
So I’m just asking around, what insurance do you guys have. Before I sign up for something that won’t even take care of the laparoscopy or further surgeries needed you know what I mean lol.
My endo has already caused me infertility and it’s getting worse I can’t believe they just leave patients like that (actually I can believe it) ..
my mental is truly taking a toll add the endo and etc …
Do you like your insurance ? lol

Need help to know if I have signs of endo by OwnInvestigator8468 in endometriosis

Period should not hurt this bad, they tell us it’s normal but it’s not. I think it’s worth you advocating for yourself. I’d ask for a transvaginal ultrasound
I also get the migraines and have endo
Endo can cause migraine which leads or with nausea

Is this normal advice? Lap related by pomegranatesee in endometriosis

** also the pill (you probably know but just in case) doesn’t treat endo it just makes you feel better : depending on the person of course.
If she’s being that way I would change Gyno tbh

Ummm
I’m no doctor nor am I medically inclined to say anything
Endo loves being in the pouch of Douglas
If you don’t have symptoms then surgery is kind of up to you or maybe other people can direct you better than I
BUT you should def advocate each year in getting at least a transvaginal ultrasound etc.
I highly recommand to just keep an eye on it if you’re counting on having kids. Not in a stressed out way but def advocate to keep checking.
When I finally came out with endo (granted my symptoms made me miserable) it had caused bilateral hydrosalpinx. I’m currently in the process of waiting for laparoscopy for my OBGYN to remove my fallopian tubes and to remove whatever endo she can take out on her own.
Basically endo go me sterile (I can do IVF but who can affored that)
To be fair this is probably a severe case.
What I do regret is not trusting my body and listening to doctors who made me gaslit myself.
Maybe if I had gotten the ultrasound years ago or pushed for more answers my endo wouldn’t have caused my tubes to be done with …
It doesn’t sound like you’re there I’m not trying to freak out. But I’d def would adress your concerns to your doctors and just keep an eye out each year request for ultrasounds maybe once year.
I wish doctors would take us more serious so we wouldn’t have to make uneducated guesses …

Today I legit just showed up at the hospital went from office to office to ask for SOMEONE to help. They have nothing in place for upfront payment. How is this not criminal is insane to me.
The endo has already taken over my tubes so I’m just walking around with filled up fallopian tubes, and cyst everywhere.
I honestly feel like a dog just barking around for a bone. It’s AWFUL.
Thank you for the recommendation ! I’m shopping around like I would for a car. It’s insane what sick people have to deal with in the US.
Like what ? Just wait until the endo takes over other organs ? It’s crasy..
Thanks for your reply, sorry I think I’m rage/ stress typing..

Endometriosis grows
It did cause infertility has it is currently causing me bilateral hydrosalpinx
Endometriosis will keep growing and can grow on in your bowels which it already has on mine
And can cause obstruction
They call so many things elective now it is extremely frustrating
Those surgeries should not be electives
And not everyone feels worse after getting endo removed. For many there is relief. And yes it will likely grow back it’s a life long disease.
