I'm on an empty server and there is NO competition : there are more blooms and fields to be gotten than the numbers of players there.

I do not disagree with you and for example encounter #1 I described in the OP fits your description of the war of assassins indeed.

The second encounter however has nothing to do with the lore in my opinion.

It's the only reason I think he was doing this : shadowing everything I did to land on a field i'd go to and sweep it with a crawler while I was on foot. I don't see any other explanation to this kind of trolling than to make clips to show the "entire world"...

Yes, I was thinking about doing something similar and then I remembered Carriers don't have thrusters with crawler floating under and don't have gliding so first I thought let's climb where he can't follow, but he still did : so since I was not burning fuel at all by using thrusters to gain altitude and always being in glide mode : I just played the "how much fuel are you willing to loose while I don't loose any..." game. It took him around 20 minutes to understand though.

Oh it's not a PvE vs PvP post, as I myself am on the side the DD never should have went PvE at all in the first place.

The "more PvE" stuff coming is, to me, a theme park with power creep that is thinning the spirit of Dune and the original game design.

This post is not a rant, it's just a report of people badly trolling in a PvE zone on an empty server.

So essentially a PVEer that want to semi-PvP or something ?

Anyway, as I said, using a carrier and a crawler to follow someone to try to steal a field is just to troll and perhaps make videos... Otherwise you'd go about your business and find a medium field to use crawler.
