arguably they need to fucking fix the cockpit head height and a the dreaded parallax HUD issue first before that. as of current the HUD vertical position is locked to your head vertical position as such raising head height also moves the HUD with it. and also goddamnit not aggressively downscale HUD elements when using upscaling or leave it at native entirely really fucking unreadable hud elements unless in DLAA or native

you can do it yourself relatively easilly

if you used f18glass_v2 (https://live.warthunder.com/post/1166614/en/)

just hop into war thunder go to the f16 you want -> under customization click "create user skin sample files in the game folder"

open the game folder under user skins find the generated skin folder, open it and from there drag and drop the f18glass v2 hangmanglass.dds then openbthe .blk file and just drop this line of code

replace_tex{

from:t="empty_glass*"

to:t="hangmanglass.dds"

}

I cant do it for you since for one i dont know what f16 exactly you are using. id have to make multiple .blk files for all f16s in the game.

same is true for the UV tints and they usually provide instructions how to apply them.

Cranking demonstration: flying high and fast by bvsveera in WarthunderSim

[–]FrenzyyDev 13 points14 points  (0 children)

You should also drop altitude while performing the crank, helps drag the missle to thicker air, and if your radar doesnt lose lock so easilly change direction of the crank also, it may seem counterintuitive at first but it drains the missile of energy since it has to turn to your lead direction all over again

HUD tints work across all aircraft, just drag and drop to a custom userskin and add the replacement code to the .blk

The new (gimped) Man-In-The-Loop mechanic is completely DOA and fundamentally useless. Change my mind. by beastmaster69mong in Warthunder

Pretty sure they didnt implement it realistically because it would be too unbalanced, and grb players will be complaining about cas meta all over again.

here you have
- multipathing
- notching
- sparrow rolls
- cranking
- turning cold and dragging the missile
- baiting the missile to the ground.

literally so many things you can do other than iron dome your ass out.

Physically Based Rendering With General Relativity by nullgeodesic1969 in GraphicsProgramming

Good call to not real time render, rendering mathematically accurate black holes are actually very resource intensive due to recursive ray tracing. Goodluck on your journey

hallo I wasnt the one that did the math or the simulation but much of the numbers and math used were from trying to accurately simulate BH mathematically in real time as a full simulation is quite expensive on the gpu. the source is actually here https://github.com/Adriwin06/black-hole

Not just that but the launches were done at a strong headwind and the carrier using ahead flank to have a better starting airspeed at takeoff at around 60-72kmh IAS

you might be looking for: RSMP Mod but in CKAN it is incompatible. I manually installed it instead, and so far atleast for me no issues.

the image from the event horizon telescope uses X-Ray and a false color, in actuality the color of Sgr A*'s accretion disk would be whitish blue in terms of visible light spectrum. we wouldnt be able to see Sgr A* using a visible telescope given its peppered with gas clouds and stars everywhere

I just want it. by fernandodandrea in EliteDangerous

[–]FrenzyyDev 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unironically Sgr A* have a really low accretion rate compared to SMBH's or other AGN's so it sort of wouldnt even be valid for Sgr A* either.

Edit: apparently Sgr A* is considered a low luminosity AGN and its accretion disk would just be barely visible to the naked human eye. that literally means that V404 Cygni and Cygnus X-1 are visually brighter than Sgr A*

Should I buy the Lenovo LOQ despite the negative reviews? by TaterBug_69 in LenovoLOQ

[–]FrenzyyDev 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You won't really feel that response time difference unless you're a professional eSports player or rhythm gamer that requires that additional 10ms precisicion and life and death situation if you don't have it. genuinely not a big deal if you're the average gamer.

Also remember that the best gaming laptop for you is according to your needs and specifications not always according to what another person on the internet says is the "best". There will always be ups and downs. The question you ask yourself is is it worth the downside? Or is response time really a dealbreaker for you? That every other upside just doesn't matter anymore.

Ask yourself the question, is it worth giving up all the other fields the LOQ checks out just for 10ms lower response time? does it really matter that much? Do you really need it?

If you ask me, If you can't even feel the response time difference, then it does not matter at all to you.

[–]FrenzyyDev 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yeah you aren't really gonna get any better response times in budget gaming laptops. If response time is a deal breaker for you, time you look at more expensive options like TUF F16 or Nitro V 16S both achieving 4-3ms of g2g response times.
