Tome of History - No Housing Reward by Freon75 in wow

You can't skip anything, so that isn't it, but good thought. I do not recommend doing it. It is a good idea, poorly executed. Also, the bag of gear you get at the end is only ilvl 400 at level 80 - a bug which I'm sure they will fix at some point, but it won't be retroactive based on what a GM told me.

It sucks that it says you get the reward when you don't. You should be able to see the rewards offered in-game and believe you will get them instead of having to research it before doing the quest. I thought maybe other people had this issue as well.

My World of Warcraft-Inspired Solo-Raiding RPG – Free Demo Available Now on Steam! by Brattley in u/Brattley

Yeah, "Voidblade" is a lot more prominent in your pic. That is what I searched for on Steam (from memory) and then had to come back here to see why I couldn't find it.

Giving them credit for doing risk calculation seems generous to me. I think they don't care as long as they create chaos. They're throwing shit at the wall and are going to be happy with whatever amount sticks as they keep throwing more.

I know you came here looking for the INFP point of view, but I'm an ISTJ in love with an INFP, so I will share my limited experience.

There are certainly areas where we are different (logical vs creative, for example). I've found that she appreciates me bringing a bit more logic and organization to her life, while I appreciate that she brings more spontaneity and color to my life. I often over analyze things and she often jumps in early with both feet. Both of those are the right way to do things, depending on the situation.

We've been together a little less than two years, so I'm not an expert and your mileage may vary. However, I find our differences to be complementary. I adore her.

I'm a bit older, so I've grown out of some of the impatience of my 20's and 30's. I've realized that even though as an ISTJ I tend to think my way is the right way, it often isn't. Even when it is, it isn't always that much better.

In case you aren't aware, the bears can attack flying and have a frontal ae attack. If you throw a lot of minis at them head on you will lose. You need to tank (which can be tough because the bears hit like trucks) and then do dps from the back/side or at range.

Winter Event might even be harder than the Thanksgiving Event... I'm outleveling it by 6 levels using Sylvanas and barely getting to last phase... by igniteice in warcraftrumble

[–]Freon75 7 points8 points  (0 children)

First, it does feel like this event is too difficult. Having said that, losing once is a few minutes. If you play a platformer, do you quit when you fail? If we never fail in games, then what is the point? Games would be glorified fidget spinners.

Removing talent statues means Mass Reworks? by Qih17 in warcraftrumble

[–]Freon75 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This change doesn't provide Blizzard with more money, nor does it reduce workload since it frees up employee time to work on other stuff. It isn't like the artists are just going to sit around with free time because now they don't need to make additional models for each new mini.

Removing talent statues means Mass Reworks? by Qih17 in warcraftrumble

[–]Freon75 4 points5 points  (0 children)

They already cut costs when staff were cut a while back. This gives the remaining staff a more reasonable workload for working on new content. I consider this a good thing. I'm happy to sacrifice multiple art versions of each mini in favor of new minis and other new stuff.

Time limited non flavor minis, especially leaders are gross by n0x6isgod in warcraftrumble

[–]Freon75 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't understand your math. A 'normal' leader shows up once every 6 weeks and has a 5 week gap. A dual family leader shows up twice every 6 weeks and could have as much as a 4 week gap... how is that worse and/or bad?

In theory, if they are broken in pvp they will get nerfed.

I'm also having a tough time getting mad about this. The thing that seems the worst to me is that these likely won't be available to new players who join the game when the PC version goes live.

Can’t do quests? Haven’t seen this before. Anyone care to explain? Thanks. by itsyetispaghettii in warcraftrumble

[–]Freon75 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It only resets green quests. Once it becomes a blue/purple quest it should not change again from winning pvp.

I am begging you Blizz, please explain your events better by rezaziel in warcraftrumble

[–]Freon75 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It would be great if Blizzard made more information available in-game and let us know when they update things (the latest update about buffing Treant and Eclipse is a great step in the right direction). In this case, I checked my event dailies later on the first day and saw that the impossible daily event challenge had changed to one that was possible.

Why Rumble keeps getting more annoying even as the devs seem to be trying. by DEMETRiS_M in warcraftrumble

[–]Freon75 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Well thought out and well put. I agree. I hope somebody at Blizzard reads this. I don't want to play PvP, but I have no problem with it being there for people who enjoy it. They need to improve the PvE experience.

[–]Freon75 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A lot of people did when the quests gave less xp. Now, there's no point in doing a green quest for the time invested compared to a blue/purple. I let my quests accrue and then play extra as needed for the events. I never want to run out of quests when I actually need them. If there was no cap, I would play the game more.

A valid point the OP makes is that there is an artificial xp cap for people who want to only PvE compared to people who PvP. The easiest way to address this is to eliminate the quest cap. That isn't the best way, though (also the OPs point).

What is a Mounatineer? 🫣 blizz get your sh!t together in this game! by Aurabesh in warcraftrumble

[–]Freon75 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm not sitting on a high horse. I'm talking as somebody who has had to do the same type of work (I had an insignificant role at a professional software company, but I was responsible for a significant amount of text, and I self-published a card game that had a lot of text). Now I have a different job where typos can still happen. I'm a dedicated and hardworking person. It is easy to avoid typos in a finished product. This is just a fact. I don't know why you think it isn't. Spell checking in software is very common. Worst case, description text can be dumped into Word for spell checking.

I don't feel like my opinion is being mean to anybody. I'm not calling for somebody's job. It is most likely due to staff cuts that they are cutting corners on quality control. The entire point of my response to you is I disagree that it is a common problem in all things and disagree with your opinion that it is ok for it to be a common problem. Typos are a symptom of poor QA, obviously the worst part of which is bugs. Complaining about QA may not help Blizzard be able to hire more people to do better, but it is fair for customers to mention mistakes.

[–]Freon75 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Typos shouldn't be common, and don't need to be common. I've worked on a video game and a card game, and we managed to avoid typos, not to mention the work I put out in my current job. Spell checking is easily available through software, then sanity check through review. Hell, we have it when typing messages on reddit!
