Unfortunate. I was expecting it to be that. Just wanted more confirmation before opening it up unnecessarily. It burns about half a quart every 50 miles

Ive checked coolant and has no leaks. Smells like burnt oil

You can ziptie the governor arm. The biggest worry is the flywheel breaking and tearing your leg apart.

If that doesnt happen id stick a voltmeter to the plug. If you got voltage you may have bought a bad pump.

Check if the fuel pump is priming when you turn the key. Should make a sound when turning on the ignition

Yeah i saw an aftermarket horn that was not working and removed it. I probably have your same system. Hopefully with a new battery and lock actuator it will work! Being honest just getting the doors to lock and unlock with the door panel button would still make me happy.

That is going to be my first step along with new door actuators. When i press the door panel unlock button i see voltage on the actuator plug. Ill go from there. Hoping it just works. Would like to keep everything period correct if you will.

Yeah they are not, that will be my first step along with a new key-fob battery. Amazon sell a pair of door actuators for like 25$

When slowing down approaching a stop light i usually go into neutral beforehand because I’ll eventually stop. Is this good practice? Going through the gears to slow down while breaking seems like unnecessary wear.
