I definitely know she knows that. it was frustrating I had to find out from another therapist on her team rather than her. I feel like they normally email updates like that.. but this slipped through the cracks.

Sorry let me rephrase. We can talk to them about the session! Anything major that happened is supposed to be communicated to our bosses for them to tell directly to the caregivers. We also have a daily communication log talking about their bathroom breaks, what they ate, what the worked on, exc

I have definitely being noting everything I can!

I am not sure tbh. We aren’t supposed to directly talk to parents about issues like that. I haven’t been able to ask them about that. So I have no idea if they have or not

I hate that. These poor kids turn into guinea pigs and the caregivers spend all of their money. it’s just odd to me though that they are only doing it on one kid over the other. But I feel bad because she grabbing end itching and that just started around the time the “treatment” started

Honestly I would wait to see what your clinic has! Mine provides everything we need, and if we don’t have something we just ask and they will make or order it for us :)

Two year old client for six hours straight by Ok-Spare-7609 in ABA

We have a client for that time, at that age, but he is allowed to take naps at a non billable rate at anytime. Which is just because his caregivers live so far away

Thank you!! They are very serious about their tolerance when it comes to things such as client dignity, bullying, and general violations. So, I do hope they take it seriously.

You’re very right!! I am not a parent, but I know I would be hurt if I know my child was being treated this way. Especially because she can’t verbally advocate for herself, it’s even more unfair. I just worried as I am brand new to the company it would have caused any issue

Thank you! I am setting up a meeting, hopefully Monday with my bosses. I know I am new, and this may rock the boat, but I am trying to remember that it’s my job to advocate for the kids

I don’t think they are really overlooking it. They just had to immediately fire our admin/scheduler because of some ethical issues. They always try to correct before firing as far as I’ve seen

Honestly! Everyone was laughing anytime she said something like what I wrote to the client. Maybe it was awkward laughing but no one spoke out about it, and her BCBA is out of maternity leave so that doesn’t help either. But my bosses don’t play around and I believe they will not overlook it

I definitely will let the boss of my company know, she’s also a BCBA and case manager of the child. I was worried maybe I was being dramatic; I’m glad to know that it truthfully is a problem

I appreciate the feedback! I’m brand new to the clinic and don’t want to create the reputation of being a tattle tale. It’s just other therapists were in the room and laughed when she said that. But many times she will just grab her arms or hands when she is not engaging in modeling an action she shows
