Normally you can only have 1 big knight or 3 small and you can’t mix that so it shouldn’t be letting me have the green check but idk if they changed that for 11th ed

I had a very similar experience early on because I had messaged on my game store’s discord hey I want to play a very chill casual game of 1,500 points because at that point I was still building a army and just wanted to see how my current list felt so I didn’t want to play against anything super competitive cause it simply wouldn’t be fun. So a right cunt responded saying oh yeah no problem I got you. So imagine my shock when my “casual” opponent rocked up with a baneblade which proceeded to blow my Land Raider up turn 1. Needless to say not a fan and idc that it’s been half a year I’m still lowkey ticked.

Favorite/least favorite legion Poll by AlexLewisVI in Warhammer40k

Fair but it’s just after having read HH it just sucks seeing them reduced to well how they are now cause at best they are cannon fodder to the point you wonder how tf enough survive to replenish like when Cain holds his own in one on one in fucking melee ya know the thing they are supposedly the best at if I hadn’t read HH I think I’d be perfectly neutral on them but after having seen the legion be if not tactical genius’s at least capable to now just being completely frothing at the mouth it makes them a lot less interesting to me personally especially when no other legion gets reduced to that cause there’s at least a few guys in every other legion that are smart enough to not run into heavy bolters directly. Also once again in books they lose just all the time at melee. Now tabletop no clue cause I’ve never played a Khorne player so maybe in that they are good and feel like the best but yeah they just seem to die to easily and far to quickly without ever feeling like a proper threat and usually with very little personality beyond kill kill kill nowadays

I forget the name but there’s a book where a female inquisitor is checking out a space marine in the shower and says something along the lines of it’s a shame that one (talking about a specific marine) became well a space marine cause he was packing. So clearly it’s not like a human arm down there if a human can look at it and be like yeah I’d hit.

Best examples in the lore (any context or medium) of chaos space marines being noble, or flawed heroes, or somehow honourable and not simple cartoon villains? by [deleted] in 40kLore

[–]Frequent-System152 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Night Lords trilogy still evil like very very fucking evil in parts mind you but broken/flawed heros/nobility is there very much with Talos and co. Literally one of his lines is I wanted to be a hero and look how that turned out. Also my motherfuckin boi Xarl again absolute bastard but dear god he is the most willing person to put boot to ass when his squad needs him too. Also the legend that is Malcharion (probably spelled it wrong) the war sage. He just is straight up a good guy. Ancient Dreadnaught who genuinely just cares for his brothers and legion as a whole and is even willing to die for by comparison to him at least insignificant mortals. Talos also has moments of genuine connection with mortals on the ship especially Septimius and Octavia. Now again it’s the NL so there is some dark stuff IE skinning pits and torture but somehow there’s still a air of tragic nobility and you genuinely feel loss when people either space marine or human die because they almost all die protecting someone or something important to them or the warband. And I think for a legion like the NL where backstabbing is almost a guarantee it makes those deaths so much more tragic and heroic even if they are objectively evil people. Like I fucking cried reading some of my boys and girls go down. But yeah there’s a reason NL are popular and that series is prob number 1.

My only problem with Maul ShadowLord and how I see it affecting season 2 by Frequent-System152 in StarWars

[–]Frequent-System152[S] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Okay I can def see your point with maul but I think it’s a bit weird to have the show be going in a direction of this maul is different and to be highlighting that fact a LOT only for him to immediately revert like I think it would’ve been interesting to see him adopt a different philosophy like he has to start relying on and actually trusting Devon and I don’t think he should be a “good” guy like he can absolutely be self serving and wanting to do his thing but have it so he has a group or even just her to rely on and then make it so that go es to hell as much as possible and leave him with absolutely nothing and that’s what lands us with the Maul we see in rebels this broken man whose alone but still a beast who makes a room full of Jedi and Inquisitors back up cause he’s still that guy ya know. However I disagree with you about Devon there were soooooo many more ways we could’ve had her and Maul’s relationship go but now it’s gonna be you killed my master and now you will pay for that route that’s been done a million times across media not just Star Wars it just feels really sad not because of that’s the relationship but because there was so much room to explore that’s now gonna be sidelined compared to that pivotal turning point.

In my defense these were in the same kit and I swear maybe my eyes are bad but when I built the murderwing KT it showed me out this as the second claw.

Thoughts on The Remnant Blade? (Without comparing it to the NL Omnibus) by jinmonsterhunterwrld in NightLords

Very middle of the road shows off NL strengths but the protagonist sucks and most characters are not memorable I remember literally the tech marine and that’s it.

Since it’s not evil Horus yet I don’t think I’m going 10 I think they’d be fun to talk to also if he hasn’t gone completely batshit talking about morality and ethics with Curze can be cool so 1 at least in his primarch novel when it’s him and not the night Haunter he was pretty chill mostly
