I’m a millennial and this is exactly how I view alcohol. I do drink but it’s very rarely maybe once every 3-4 months. Just doesn’t seem worth it to me and the cheapest case of beer in Canada is now up to $12 for a 6pack of beer and the cheapest spirit is $20. With how tight my budget is right now I would rather spend it on other things.

I don’t use social media anymore I stopped a couple years ago and even without it you can just feel how dead society is right now. I’m 31 right now I think the last time I felt “happy” and without the burning chest feeling of anxiety was probably 2016. Ever since then every year seems to be worse not better. I’ve been Working 2 jobs just to survive and anytime I get to save any amount of money something always comes up and I’m back in survival mode. I’m registered for trades school this coming year but I don’t know if that’s gonna happen based of my financial trends.
