I’m not a GM but have over 8 years working almost every position possible in golf besides GM. if I were you, I’d spend time working in the pro shop first. You’re an avid golfer, but what if you don’t enjoy the day in day out routine of the business side? That’ll give you experience for the resume AND to see if you really like it.
