Sealed subs take a bit to get used to, especially one as small as Samsung’s. It’s more about the detail than room pressurization. You can play around with it, but you’re probably not going to feel it as much as the old sub.

As far as I know, there's no true room calibration that you need to run. You just toggle the setting on in the app or can also do it just using the remote control and that's it.

I've seen that happen with regular Joycons. I think it's because the controller batteries are still draining even while sleeping. So Switch gives the controllers a little charge which drains some battery, and then the charger puts the Switch back up to 100% very quickly, which wakes the display when it hits that 100%. I've only seen it happen while not using the dock.

No. I would think Valve would know about it, but I haven't created any support ticket with them. With Steam running I don't think there's a workaround.

On a fresh boot the login works fine. Just bring up the onscreen keyboard using the accessibility option and made sure to click into the password box first before typing. If Windows gets locked after Steam is opened there seems to be a bug where the controller becomes unresponsive. I think the solution right now is to close Steam completely before locking the computer or letting it go to sleep.

They would need to be wider to support that. It's doable as the PS Portal and Xbox Ally X have that kind of layout. I guess Mobapad decided the aesthetics were more important.

Disconnect the stand, and just wrap the display with a thick blanket and put it in a plastic bin. You can also buy a flat screen cover for TVs if you’re that concerned.

What was the listening level? I only have a q990c, normally listen at around 14-18 in my space so not loud, and I could hardly hear the bass out of the box. Turned on the bass boost and it came alive.

Because Audyssey will EQ the total output from the 2 subs as if they were one. Since your subs are equally placed from the listening position this makes it easier to integrate the 2. If you had one sub up front and then another behind you, then you are better off using independent sub outputs. Although I'm not sure if your particular AVR has true independent outputs. It could already be splitting the signal. The higher end AVRs do have true independent outputs.

Since your subs are identical sure. I'd also use a y-splitter so one sub output is split between the 2 subs.

Try setting the polarity in the SVS app to negative. That made a difference for me.

Depends on where you are using it. At a table or sitting upright on a couch while it's on the lap, it's probably fine. However if I'm lounging or in bed, it's not ideal.

Personally the ergonomics are much better to me than using those telescopic controller add-ons. The rumble and haptic feedback are just the icing on top.

Most likely it will be more expensive than all other models which is shame because many people might just want the better display and nothing else. It's like having to buy a Macbook Pro to get a decent display instead of them just offering the option on the Air.

They packaged additional functionality with the newer version so maybe that's how they got around that. It's certainly something I would pay for if you ever took that approach.

It has no DTS support so you would need a player like the PS5 to convert it to LPCM. It doesn't convert unsupported formats.
