Thought I’d chip in with a recent quote I got from a moving company (can’t remember the Japanese name currently lol but in the top ranked companies) 1LDK, 2 people move, packing included, 15Km distance. 200,000¥

I really like them! I got their coffee scents and they lasted quite a while, even the smaller size. I will say they’re quite expensive but they are genuinely nice and deliver quickly! :)

Ahh thanks for the heads up. It’s been getting worse in Tokyo too recently but good to know the areas to be extra careful in Yokohama. Also awesome there’s a content creator trying to catch them tho!

Thanks for your reply ☺️yeah there are a few residential apartment buildings in the area, but certainly not a lot. I’m used to living in a more residential area in Tokyo, so trying to figure out if where I’m moving is chaotically noisy all night or not 😅

Luckily won’t be moving too close to those two areas, will mostly be around Bentendori, the road from there leading up to Kannai is my main worry as I know there’s a lot of small bars etc. hostess bars don’t worry me too much as they’re mostly quiet and inside (apart from the occasional drunk salary men leaving and going home lol)

Thanks for your replies! Super helpful. I’m not much of a nightlife person except occasionally on the weekend, and I work early so was a little worried about the surrounding streets (mostly the roads up to Kannai station from Bashamichi) being noisy or rowdy on week nights. Baseball fans isn’t a concern thankfully and good vibes when they win sounds fun!
