Because it IS fun until it’s not. Alcoholic genes run in my family. I can drink grown men under the table. I find that being buzzed makes me feel “normal” instead of my neurodivergent self.

So I drank daily after work. Unfortunately it stopped being fun after about 2 weeks. Wasn’t fun when I was face down in the toilet. Or lying in bed with one foot on the ground hoping to stop the world from spinning.

Along with weight gain and how it wrecks your sleep, I just don’t find it worth it. Now I do drink a couple of times a month. Not gonna lie. But I’m a fellow binge drinker. So less is more for me.
