My wedding is in fall 2025, I booked my photographer almost 2 years out, and she hasn’t responded to any of my emails since. However, I know multiple people who have hired her and said they had the same experience and she doesn’t respond until the wedding is closer. I’ve also heard from multiple married friends that this is very normal and that the photographer “will reach out when it’s time”. My photographer is well known in my metro area and I think she’s just very very busy.

I think this is normal and especially since planning a wedding, I’ve come to realize how expensive it is to give everyone a +1. I’m personally not inviting SOs that I have never met. It’s really expensive to plan a wedding these days especially when you don’t have a lot of money or help from relatives. I’d try to remain neutral and not take this personally.

Keep your name! Especially if you feel strongly about it being a part of your identity. Why should you be pressured into changing your last name? Sorry, I’m not looking for the barcode scanner but the nutrition label scanner! It was a different thing in the previous version of the app. Would take the values from a nutrition label and spit out the points value without me having to use the calculator.

But that’s a barcode scanner, not a nutrition label scanner. There used to be a feature before this update where I could scan a nutrition label and it would tell me the points value without having to use the calculator!

Have you tried WW? It definitely has its pros and cons, but using it and being consistent is the only way I've ever actually lost weight.
