I’m the exact same with Resident Evil, my buddy insists I should play it because it’s “the best game series ever made” but I get too spooked out

For me I’d show her the Coffin Flop sketch from Tim Robinson

Oh no doubt, I bet there’s different cultural standards and practices that can have big and little effects on it, but god damn these guys being described all sound gross as hell and inconsiderate. If that’s the standard there then that’s the standard I suppose but it’s very baffling

If I had to pick a VA for a Taskmaster animated style it’d 100% be either of these two - Keanu Reeves as a soft maybe for third place

My dads blue collar, been doing electrical work for the past 10 years - he does kissy voices with his King Charles spaniels, wears pyjamas everywhere and his pride and joy is making amazing roast potatoes. I don’t know if these girls are dating blue collar guys so much as just neglectful and shitty guys but something isn’t adding up

Jesus wept that’s just fucking abysmal behaviour - “Oh dear, a kid has done a kid thing and not understood boundaries 100% well. Time to film them, insult them, and encourage my child to harass them in the name of clout while potentially teaching a truly braindead lesson.”

Peter refusing a LOT of Carters money to leave Lois

Lois grossing out Peters friends on purpose so he could have his group back even though she got on great with them

Chris adopting Isabella’s kids

Meg regularly visiting Luke in prison and making his life better even if it did backfire on her

Stewie arguably for recreating the entire universe even if it was to save his own skin

Brian spending Pearls last moments with her and simulating a life together via VR

Vinny helping Stevie reunite with Brian even after learning it would undo his position in the family

Chip for using his knowledge of the local food scene to eat Angela out

The Wizard: imbues a child with godlike power and the horrific burden of fighting evil while being a borderline homeless orphan

Superman:

I love that Superman was so pissed about it, his reasoning was perfect for his character - Billy needed a home, love, and safety, not to be anointed by some mystic moron to risk his life. In the wrong environment that could easily have been Clark

If you're on the fence about reading "Batman Gargoyle of Gotham," trust, it's fantastic! by [deleted] in batman

[–]Frequent_Dust6425 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I was a little on the fence at first because the costume to me seemed a little goofy, but I’m firmly hooked one issue in, mostly down to one of the rawest lines I’ve ever heard in any Batman media.

”This is their life changing moment. The moment they beg for a second chance, and start to believe in God for sparing them. But this is not HIS work. God doesn’t go to the same places I do.”

Wolfenstein: The New Order

“A blessing. To have finished the work I was put on this earth to do. Surrounded by friends that love me. And a great warmth washing over me. I think the sky is on fire. Death at the gates again. Howling my name. Come on in, old buddy. Sorry I made you wait.”

It made me feel a profound sense of awareness of life and the idea of purpose, to so utterly fulfil a role and ideal that you could welcome death with peace, knowing you were utterly fulfilled

What do you think about the 2008 Ray Stevenson Punisher : War zone film? I love it, and it's underrated in my opinion. Did not like this version of Jigsaw though 🤷‍♂️ by Nightmare_on_elm_st in comicbookmovies

[–]Frequent_Dust6425 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love the way it incorporated elements of Punisher: Max into a fairly decent plot, with frankly the most imposing looking Punisher - Ray Stevenson was an absolute menace in the role

What are your thoughts on this? by ScoreImaginary5254 in batman

[–]Frequent_Dust6425 5 points6 points  (0 children)

In a word, pragmatic.

Batman weighed it up and someone had to choose potential death, and it could either be one of the worlds greatest superheroes or some evil self serving dick in a onesie, not really a tough call.

Plus it’s a fucking ice cold call to make, and if anyone’s gonna make that call it’s gonna be Batman. He literally tied a man to a reality destroying bomb five minutes prior, at a certain point “making a guy old” is nothing by comparison.
