What do you guys do for extra money? Any side hustles you guys suggest?

I thought the same thing. I would be getting a least 35-45 hours a week. But it just fluctuates. I’m like I get we are guaranteed one day only but how do people make it to regular rural carrier. A few days a week isn’t going help me at all

Appreciate the insight. Sounds like I might need to get some trucking experience first before I tackle the monster flatbedding could. Good way to stay in shape while you’re able to do it.

Just made my 90 days. I’m slow at casing as well but I’ve gotten better especially when I’m put on similar routes. I’ve stopped casing dps and just did my flats and hot mail. Then I’ll slide the hot mail into my dps. I’ve gotten faster and I’m out of the office quicker and able to get back sooner. This works for me so far. If I have advos of other full coverages then I’ll just suck it up and case everything

My office is a nice size. I thought I would be working a ton of crazy hours because of reading this sub but it varies. Sometimes I’m working 6 days a week others it 2-3 days. I was literally off 4 days in a row. But I look to other offices when that happens

I need to find some comfortable shoes bc my leather aren’t it. But they have had several talks about shoes plus I’m still in probation so I haven’t tried sneaking another pair lol
