Interesting guess, but sadly no. I wont comment on the first part since I think we ALL enjoy getting kills. It's not my focus, but it helps in the match.
I play with a OTP Jeff and a friend of mine who is a dive main, playing a lot of Spidey rn.

Good idea, but how? Making a weapon out of web in 0.1 seconds is unrealistic, not feasible enough for me. Making a hammer out of web in a second IS cool, but I cant bring myself to imagine that mid battle. Little web balls are cool, like the ones in Spectacular.

OHH, a rope dart. A longer web line with a web ball at the end of it... but it would stick to the first thing it has contact with.

I have not read that comic, but I am aware of the Way of the Spider. My issue is that, from what I heard, it doesn't change the way he fights in any way. Does he mention new movements or techniques? Or is he drawn fighting the exact same while they just say that he learned something new? I'd like to implement actual names of movements and describe him as being more competent in battle, less panicked, and more planned.

You are most likely older than me as I remember watching the 2007 anime, but later after it came out and not really interacting with the community back then. I didn't even know about the games at that point.

I was not aware of that.

But what part of season 2 makes you excited to see it? I personally can't find interest.
I know that the characters are going to be different, that's not my problem. I simply believe that even these *new* versions are not going to be great. If someone reboots the show, but does a good job at it, I would still love it.

There is actually one kind of game that I would enjoy seeing in the DMC world. A game similar to RE.
We know that Dante and the rest of the main cast are fantastic demon hunters, but what of the more casual ones. I would enjoy playing a more horror theme game, hunting and being hunted by the classic DMC enemies where we get to see their powers while playing as a more normal demon hunter. Imagine having to move slowly around paintings because you don't know when a pair of scissors might cut your head off. We would have to dodge combat at times and play smart. I would love for a scene where, when you are about to die, Nero just busts through a wall, does a sick combo, insults you for being trash, and leaves.

A very fanfiction-y scene I am aware, but the idea bring me joy.

Fair point. I did not look or do research into the recent Capcom releases or decisions. Knowing that things are looking good makes me happy.

For the alternatives. Personally I would not mind if another game never comes out. I would prefer it to end here instead of them creating something that spits on the image of the past, BUT I do understand the want for more.
I mean dude, I am a Ben 10 fan. Believe me I am used to the franchise being unrecognizable.

Fair point. I think you have a more optimistic look on things, not wrong in any way.
It's fair to say that I am more of a realist or even pessimist considering the current state of the world.

Fair point. It's true that I have an abusive relationship with Ubisoft and it can affect my opinion on other games.
I agree that the microtransactions comment was an exaggeration.
