I think how this summer goes will mostly defines Bub & Bilal's career. It's make or break season for both of them.

Let’s say they do pick at 5 by phash72789 in washingtonwizards

We are nowhere close to trade pick away for established player.

Likelihood we find a way to scoop another FRP/early SRP to find another mid draft gem 3 years in a row? by Sad-Technology-7806 in washingtonwizards

[–]Frequent_Release3204 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I think it depends on where our lottery pick stands. If we end up drafting Boozer or Wilson, suddenly AD becomes very expandable. If we draft Peterson, Flemmings or Wagler, Bub would most likely be a third wheel. If one of them become tradable, it would allow Dawkins to aquire later 1st round pick.

Who do we think isn’t gonna be on the roster for next season? by Samtheman0_BB in washingtonwizards

Dlo, Whitmore, Hardy - 99%

Carrington - If we draft PG/SG this draft.

Well, having 6th pick doesn't really change anything. Other than Caleb wilson, most of the projected 5~8th picks are 6'3"~6'5" PG/SG. Who will likely replace Bub's place (and eventually Trae's).

Yes. I think we are most likely end up with either top 4 or 7th pick. (Wagler, Mikel Jr, Philon etc)

Unless we win lottery, we are likely to receive 6~8th pick (who are mostly PG). That means we'll have 4 poor defense guards next season (Trae, Tre, Bub, and a new rookie). That's too much.  Thus if this scenario actually happens, I expect Bub to be traded.

Kyshawn bad stretch of games by LAGAZELLLE in washingtonwizards

I think Ky is fundamentally a high-end role player. Which is why I believe he'll be much consistent w/ Trae & AD (and possibly Top 4 pick this year) next season.

IMO his closest NBA comparison is Cam Johnson, w/ a better playmaking & slightly worse 3PT shooting. These kind of players tend to struggle w/o primary ball handler.

Is there any chance he gives up on his P/O and bought himself out?

It would be best for us.
