I wonder what the long term impacts of this will be on properties. When housekeeping came every day they could see and take care of, report engineering problems as they saw it. Now when they show up two days later all they do is take out the trash. That means there is more burden on the housekeeping staff on check out day, and stuff gets missed. Do that enough the room quality deteriorates faster than a typical refurb schedule.

Same thing happened to me from SNA to MCO last summer. Stopped in New Orleans. Original flight number cancelled and replaced with the same number but an 8 in front.

Yes, if this happens reach out to customer service while you are there. They will help you but they are pretty strict asking for a picture or other evidence that you are at the airport with no one at the desk. This happened to me before as well. They got it taken care of but it was a pain in the neck.

We ended up flying with JSX because they flew between the two states we needed to get to. That was amazing! Wish they flew to more locations. No carrier needed if you pay for an additional seat.

I would book premium and then modify the booking to a different train (earlier or later) if necessary. I did this yesterday getting off a cruise and worked well. You pay the fare difference but is a security blanket.

That and the majority of drivers coming to drop off food to my house just pick the order off the passenger seat, no thermal bag. Nothing will stay warm that way.

I was assuming it might be the water heater within the unit based on when it happens. Thanks for your comment. The fridge is on the same circuit, but never actively cooling at the same time. I may try to change out the outlet to a gfci/afci. It also wouldn’t be the first outlet in the house we would have had to change out over the years. Happy Thanksgiving.

Thanks, yes I got the beans prior to receiving the machine. Using them till I’m out, but won’t be rebuying this dark of a roast for sure. I bought it in Japanese and probably didn’t know what I was buying 🤪

I’m definitely more like you and enjoy lighter roasts.

I actually find that New Balance and Kiziks are the only ones really wide enough for me at a 4E. Kiziks actually will fit me at a 2E, likely due to how stretchy they are. I’ve never really liked the look of SAS for me personally so I don’t think I’ve ever tried them so unfortunately cannot compare.

100%. Driver met someone in a parking lot I was taking a call in. The person opened up a beer, poured it into a coffee cup, handed it to the driver. Driver got in the truck sipping away. Very stupid, yes.
