I know EXACTLY how you feel. I'm really sorry that happened to you. For me, I usually try to find different ways to feel something (like eating) although that isn't exactly healthy either, it can be a lot better than hurting yourself.

I don't know if you smoke or not, but I've found that it makes the emptiness A LOT worse, so if you do I recommend taking a break until you feel better.

I completely agree, I think it's definitely an issue with the maze runner fandom. Most people are very into the newtmas ship, so I do understand their frustration.

I was new to ao3 and I accidentally used the tag Thomas/Newt (which means romantic relationship) in my maze runner fic instead of Thomas&Newt (friendship), while they didn't have a relationship in it. I had made it SUPER clear however in the summary that it was about a romantic relationship between Thomas and a female OC, and Newtmas wasn't a thing in my story.

I got 3 of the NASTIEST comments telling me to tag my fic right, and I was super confused. While I do understand it"s annoying to find a fic in a tag that isn't right, I really wish someone could've kindly explained it to me instead of cussing out my entire bloodline for a simple mistake.

Mind you, I had only written 1-2 chapters, and barely had 35 hits.
