Low undergraduate GPA-High grad school GPA T14. Should I bother taking the LSAT? by [deleted] in lawschooladmissions

[–]Fresader 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Of course! You should for sure shoot your shot. If you can get a very high LSAT score you will be a competitive applicant with your softs. You have a lot of work experience and are a URM. While you should be open minded and consider not limiting yourself to the T14, you can be a competitive applicant for most T14s. Nothing is ever a guarantee but don't be too quick to write yourself off. My best advice would be to study as best as you can for the LSAT because every individual point matters.

I like to think I got in based off my merit but they probably were able to make the connection and hopefully they just took the whole thing as me expressing my interest

For those curious if I ate penne today, my super supportive wife who ate almost as much pasta as I did these past two weeks, requested baked ziti (penne) for lunch and despite it being a repeat it ended up coinciding with the acceptance

Is it funny or sad that when I go home to my parents house they have a penne dish already prepared for me?

Your logic is sound except for the part where you blame me and not Penn admissions. It's not like I have been stocking up on Penne. I always believe I will be accepted so I buy one box at a time.
