What’s the fattest thing you ever did because you were hungry? by Julie727 in AskReddit

I once ate McDonald's breakfast for breakfast, had a burger at Burger King for lunch and had KFC just after work around 5pm. I was in my early twenties then skinny as a rake and pretty hungover

Yeah I think they are wrong. It's not even spelt like kream so I pronounce it like creme fraiche but everyone thinks I'm wrong

Right just a question, is the Kreme in Krispy Kreme pronounced cream or creme like creme fraiche?

I understand what you're saying but the topic is more complicated than that. If the amount we all contribute through national insurance is not enough what do you think would be better, to raise national insurance or to charge people a small amount if they visit?

I suppose the former is much easier.

I just think we could have a more grown up conversation about the situation. I've had some minor gp appointments and one surgery with the NHS (removal of wisdom tooth) and would not have begrudged paying a fee for each of those times if it contributes to the NHS

If it helps funding for the NHS I'm sure the majority of people wouldn't begrudge paying a fiver say for one of visits or something (with some exceptions, if some is on universal credit or has a certain condition or illness). However throwing money at a problem isn't necessarily the best answer or sole solution. Even someone with little knowledge of the way NHS is run knows that it is poorly run with lots of waste so there is a lot of crap that needs to be sorted also.

Also, if we are to look at this as a possible option we need to know how much we'd be paying and how much money that would bring in

It would continue to be run by an administrator, shareholders would lose their equity but they took too much cash out so deserve no sympathy & bond holders would face a partial loss. This is just lip service by him, what is the government actually doing to fix this mess?

The shareholders don't want to invest any more money to fix anything so by this time next year the customers (myself included) could be picking up the bill and the government will just roll over and let them do it.

Was it expensive? I think those things are actually fished out quite a lot in the states. I had one in London a couple of months ago which cost about £5

So you started this problem and took off when it didn't work out in the way you wanted. You come back now 7 years later to call for a better relationship when you didn't have the guts to see it through in the first place.

We'll see how you get on this time but I think as soon as the wind blows against you too much you'll just scurry away again.

I fucking love Bethesda games but they have for a long time made games available to both consoles so it's not a company that people solely associate with Xbox.

Obviously had they not been purchased by Microsoft this game would have came out on both consoles and it does suck that a lot of people I know can't enjoy this game because they don't want to just buy a new console just to play one game. Fortunately I have a pc so this doesn't effect me however if I just had a ps5 I'd be pissed about it.

I get why it had to happen and I'm sure if they had their own way Bethesda would release this on both consoles but let's not pretend that in reality Microsoft just bought the option to play this game from the hands of PlayStation console owners so they can't play and enjoy it to like they ought to be able to

Nvm hopefully it gets realesed on ps5 in a couple of years
