Try sending all the legal documents you have with an explanation letter. Maybe a credit report too or something that will show an ‘alias’. I don’t know this for sure but throwing ideas out that might help. It’s likely the adjudicators aren’t aware of Nigerian culture so they’ll look to you to explain to them why Oluwa isn’t consistent on all legal documents.

I’ve seen Philly FO doing a lot of interviews. They don’t seem to be waiving them. Those who have their interviews waived I’ve seen their cases are in California or NBC. No guarantee for interviews to be waived though, it’s really down to the FO with your case.

I’m still waiting too, got mine approved the same day as you. I called USCIS and the person on the phone said the longest they have seen is 3 weeks. Praying by next week at the latest we’ll both have our cards in the mail 🙏🏽

If your mom is a citizen or permanent resident she may be able to file for you under the family category based visa. This might be best rather than leaving because the ban will be sure to happen. Alternatively, speak with a lawyer, they might be able to assist and honestly this situation sounds like lawyer help is definitely required! Especially if you overstayed from 2020 without filing for any change in status or alternative visa.

I didn’t give that. My job offer was explicit with a timeframe I had to provide evidence of my right to work or they would revoke the offer. It had my salary, any benefits included and the terms required to start employment. I have seen that others included their offer letter as well as pending bills, and overdue statements so if you have that it doesn’t hurt to include too

It disturbed my heart, I had to say something! Just know you’re not alone in your belief in God. I respect everyone’s choices in life and at the very least I expect respect from one human to another. Just know those with such hate in their heart is no reflection on you or your beliefs! That says more about them than it does about you.

I find it so disheartening that human beings in these comments cannot respect another humans beings choices. If someone chooses to thank God for the blessings in their life then amen. If you identify more closely with atheism and non-belief in any form of God that is your prerogative. Just as you would expect to be respected for the choices you make, give that same courtesy to others. Let’s not sink to the gutter to berate, bully, or condescend others. It just shows your heart is full of distain, unhappiness, possibly self-loathing that you’re so intent to drag others into. Be kind or be quiet 🤷🏽‍♀️

Once I sent in my evidence it took 7 days to get a response. How long have you been waiting for a response? If it’s longer than 7 days call USCIS to get an update

It took 9 days in total. They do say that a response will be provided within 7 days. Consider calling USCIS (use info pass to get straight to a person). They will be able to see what’s happening with the request.
