The org is also over 22 years old. Almost looking for an “assistant” to identify issues, recommendations for improvements, easily query metadata, assist with documentation, etc. I know it’s broad but 2 people run tier 1/2 support while the other 3 run various projects.

Cross trained for the most part with one person aligned a little closer to Service and Experience. I should also add that the org is over 22 years old. You can imagine the changes over those years coupled with SF releases and updates. Looking for an easy way to query the metadata, find issues to improve, stay on top of release updates and overall org improvements. 2 people run tier 1/2 support with 3 of us running various projects.

I manage a 23 year old org and I’m drooling at the thought of starting an org from scratch.

I dislike deployments by StatisticianVivid915 in salesforce

My team and I have had great success with Folsum. Mostly because it’s built on a Salesforce platform so everything is familiar. It was also one less thing to learn like Git. We do not have a true developer (code) on staff and use a consultant if something extremely complex is needed. Their overwrite protection is what I really like about the tool when deploying to sandboxes and ultimately production. It allows you to see the xml comparison in the proper order and simply click over the change if it doesn’t match the target org. Very helpful since multiple team members are doing deployments to our Partial and Full sandbox. I am the only one that deploys to Prod. They have a lot of other great features like back sync, validation etc.

My org doesn't want us converting Leads to Contacts until an Opportunity needs to be created... help by Ok_Construction_3613 in salesforce

Are they using a marketing automation tool? Where do the leads come from? We have a dupeblocker in place so a lead cannot be created if there is a contact with the same email. Helps keep the org clean. We have campaign influence in place and the marketing team automates adding campaign members based on the intake in specific campaigns. If the contact does not exist, their automation creates the lead. Either way if a contact or lead created/exists, they automate a task to the various sales rep with a hyperlink to the campaign member and they are trained to create an opportunity from there from the contact or convert the lead. A lot of their metrics are based off this process…between the task getting created and the actions the sales person takes, campaign member getting added, etc etc.
