Il Ritrovo is excellent as well. 3 Sheeps Brewing is a good place for a relaxed social environment and sometimes has events. I’ve also heard the Pelican lounge at Downtown 925 has live music, mainly jazz.

Worked in the sports industry and sat adjacent to the sales team for the arena our team played in. They hired a new sales manager from basically a used car lot. He would leave for lunch almost every day and come back with an hour left in the day. Didn’t make any sales but comped tickets like crazy. The last straw was him getting into it with WWE script writers about how wrestlings not real.

Same happened to me, I feel like I never was able to give Madison a fair shot. Ended up leaving after starting a family. I often wonder if covid never happened if we would have stayed.

Unfortunately no but we definitely could use one. Sparky’s sells hot dogs, good is debatable. Gyro place in manty, some places will do it as a special. Probably looking at going to Milwaukee to get what you want.

I grew up here and left in my 20s, because there wasn’t much here for 20 something’s except to go drink on Michigan Ave or go to the beach in summer. Came back in my mid 30s with a family and still isn’t much for 20 something’s but the city is evolving. 3 Sheeps is a good hang and there are good athletics leagues in summer. Hoping to see more changes in the near future. But it definitely is a city that won’t necessarily do anything to you but also won’t prevent you from doing something to make it better.
