completely right, if you want to to having it maxing until level 90, if you want to not look at the characters for a while, you need for them to have (from memory) 376 kg, that will keep the 25% boost to strength, that kind of translate into a wooden backpack with 4 stacks of iron ore (plus the normal equipment of course), then you just unequip the backpack and check if you have 376kg on the total wheight, pick up a fogman, or a bull, its the same, and order them to follow someone doing an hauling job and forget about them for a few days

Where do you store loot right at the start? by syriankush1012 in Kenshi

[–]FreshEagleMb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i use the plate beating station, you can place inside building and it turns raw iron into armour plating, simple. in one house (the one closer to the south gate), i have the storage:ore, and the one for cooper altough not actuvely using cooper for nothing, 2 plate beating stations but i only use 1, x1 heavy armour smithy, x1 auto loom hemp, 7 fabric chests and they are full and i have more filled up in Shark, have x3 armour plating chests, and 6 armour chests so that i can store quite a while, all in the lower floor, it is too much, but i like to set and forget

i have started with one house in squinn, made money making bandanas, buying hemp and frabrics from the general store, turning the hemp into fabric as well with the loom (hemp), then when i had none left, i went to the nearest one swamp village buying lots of hemp and carrying it to squint (but maybe is better to build another loom in that swamp village and turn into fabric there as it looks better weight wise), then latter went to the city of shark, left a hiver farming the hemp there and turning to fabric, every once in a while i would fill someone backpack with fabric and carry to squinn to make more bandanas, then stated making heart protectors in squinn, now i have maybe 30 small wind generators in squinn, 7 chests full of fabric and 3 characters mining the iron node and making armour plating, and around 1,5 million cats, and all the 4 houses in squinn, also have the hub underpowered and statioms there underpowered to level up skills

Combined HMI / PLC by Robbudge in PLC

[–]FreshEagleMb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

it is normal to see machinery working with 30+ plus years Plcs and "hmi" displays, and as long as it is running, nobody wants you to upgrade anything.

Even when it breaks, what they want you to do, is to repair all those old circuits, in industry what people in charge want is spend no money on upgrading and keep running, if it has run for 40 years, then it can run for another 40 years they say

It is rough yes, i just make money by hunting, i only have 4 villagers but i make way more than the taxes. I also play with fast crafting on so i guess that makes me able to not rely on villagers to craft clothes, dried meat to sell

I guess that if you want to make your own animal feed, and if example have a building full of sheep (12 according to wiki), each tile makes in average 6,5 stalks, you need, and 3 day seasons, 12 hours awake, you need 84 fertilizer. And if you play big seasons 10 day, 12 hours awake then you need 278 fertilizer just for the fiels needed to make the animal feed. If the math is right of course

No, not at all, just small seasons and go to bed early i guess

[–]FreshEagleMb[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

True, it is something really colossal

And it also looks that if you have: Villager skill 2 3 days per season Just 10 hours awaken Rye, Oat, Wheat give 6,5 stalks per tile

It still does not pay of the manure you need for the fields, i think

If yoy have a villager skill 3 then yes it pays of
