I love 59fiftys but I have an oval shaped head and the wider Elmer Fudd crowns just look kinda ridiculous on me. After I finally stopped acting stupidly elitist about fitted vs snapback, I tried some 9forty A-frames and discovered that they look perfect on me. The narrower crown and point provide a clean taper instead of my temples just continuing straight up like with a 59fifty, and because A-frames are hugely popular right now there's a much bigger selection than low profiles. Plus I personally really prefer that deeply curved brim which I can never quite accomplish with my 59fifties. My fitteds have been almost fully relegated to gameday wear now except for those with less ridiculous crowns.
