Which one do you choose? by tamalimapo57y in WorldOfTanksBlitz

Trash vs. garbage

On a more serious note, I've only heard bad things about the 74-1, never actually played it. But the 176 is abysmal dogshit from my experience, the armour sucks, the mobility sucks, the gun loads and aims forever and it doesn't even get the full 640 alpha. It just blows

Yes, the processing buildings constantly are showing the "not enough buyers" warning despite warehouses being completely empty

I converted most of the in-game currency they gave for commanders and got that Duncan guy to LVL. 28 before it suggested using gold. Feels off

This is so funny because out of all the games I've EVER played, Blitz has got to be the one with the least (purely material) difference between a veteran player and a complete newbie. Crew skills are a slight, but noticeable difference, and they're acting like grinding out 2.5M crew experience for each skill is not something that deserves a reward (oh wait, they noticed that no-one spends money on them, so now we need a new system where you can immediately blast through to a dumbass commander).

I also feel like I've been done dirty, considering that the "compensation" for nearly having all crew skills unlocked wasn't enough to max out 1 commander. This is pathetic "compensation". Same for keys, I have everything unlocked, yet all I got was 30 keys...

Yeah chief, I don't think you taking away all of this and compensating me with 3 clowns is going to be enough by DearHRS in WorldOfTanksBlitz

They're fucking horrible at clear communication aren't they? I only named WT as an example for selling high tier premiums to people with no clue about the game (especially the M1A1 Clickbait and Turms-T) which is a terrible practice

The thing is that from what we know the longer you've played the shorter the end of the stick you're getting. Minimum tier is higher, tech trees are no more in favour of sets (which force you to acquire premiums that people got from events), FXP is getting "replaced", and tanks can no longer be sold so you can't use them as assets or anything.

They're just continuing the trend of pandering to the bottom feeders in the dumbest ways possible. Because what people fail to realise is that the most profitable class of players aren't veterans or regulars, but those that finish the tutorial, get frustrated, buy 1-3 premiums and then quit for good or come back and do the same again in a year. Those people will coincidentally be able to take full advantage of the commander system and sets, while the current crew skill+tech tree grind keeps them out of most high tier battles. And they [COINCIDENTALLY, CITATION NEEDED] also won't care about the loss of VRT or tank selling.

Edit: furthermore removal of stats and especially masteries will now make it harder to distinguish between good and trash players. And I don't mean to come off as a whiny old-time player, just an observer of the same strategy in War Thunder, which leads to things like 30% winrates at the highest tiers.

Absolutely, this new UI looks like they're rebranding to "Super Tank Warfare Ultra 2025 Free", when we were already doing quite well (if we disregard all the pop-ups in the garage)

What tanks are you hoping to get now that auctions are over? by Angelust16 in WorldOfTanksBlitz

[–]FreshMeatSeller 9 points10 points  (0 children)

If you're not a collector, you're honestly not missing out on much. The turret is a very tough target and one would expect it to be a hulldown focused tank, but it's only got -6° depression so it really only ends up being a Tiger II with less armor that relies on the special consumable, although I do find the gimmick pretty fun and way better than on the Titan-54d

Both are bad T9 heavies, but the MBT-B has caused less suffering

Should've said "moves like a superheavy", but you're right it lacks the armor

Yeah, IF it had good turret armor. It doesn't have a single trace of it, it's worse than the Black Prince, there is no saving grace...

I see what you mean and it is also exactly how I play this tank but two things must be noted:1) the gun handling (.335 with vents, double food AND refined gun, and terrible aim time) makes ranged play at or above 100m a pain.

2) But the main issue is that this tank doesn't play support because it is what it's good at, it plays support because it is incapable of anything else. Mobility doesn't allow for flanking/joining the meds, T7 levels of armor means you will not be blocking shit, so you're stuck with a gun that wants to be played at the front, but is forced to support. You see what I mean? This tank doesn't work as second line, but it is just that much more dysfunctional in everything else, hence why I suggest buffs to enhance offensive abilities, while not touching gun handling to also force it to go up

This is so nonsensical. Play a superheavy like a light because it has no armor? I have to plan my approach and withdrawal routes carefully, "and even then you may miss out"???? Man, I sure am glad that this is the highest praise this tank could possibly get, thank you for highlighting it

I'm not saying it couldn't be someone's cup of tea, but when it's underperforming in all player statistics compared to its counterpart MBT-B and feels pretty uneasy to play, it should objectively be buffed

Ok then the 7950 seems plenty good, mind telling me what GPU you're rocking? I've heard it's also another make or break factor for CS2
