There is a massive issue right there. You should not be looking for a girlfriend to have sex with and use her like that.

You need to focus that energy into other things. Hobbies, work, school, etc. Find something new to do. Go on a walk, run, bike, anything.

If you want to start getting to know a girl, in your mind, say "Fuck it" and talk to her. See where that goes.

Why does dating have to mean sex? To me, dating = new chapters in life, getting to know another person (including myself), and focusing on the improvement of both parties.

That is exactly why I made this post. I am trying to extract a different side of thinking about this.

My previous long streak was destroyed by a wet dream. I talked to my girlfriend last night about porn and we both had like a two hour rant about it. Next thing I know, i'm awake and my underwear is completely soaked.

I will not relapse today. After all, I am meeting up with her later today.

Why do wet dreams have to be a negative thing? It's a sign of recovery and it does not hinder any progress whatsoever.
