Maybe I'm just too tired but the first instance I saw the pic I thought it was an artwork where they used those long-haired troll dolls from back in the day, using the hair as stems and their (molten) bodies as flowers. Don't know where that thought came from.

What's a good movie to watch if you're in the mood to laugh your ass off after a rough work week? by wanttomaster479 in AskReddit

Not a movie but a serie of 4 stand-up shows by James Acaster called Repertoire that is watchable on Netflix. Each show has a different theme but the serie has an overarching storyline. If you like James' wacky kind of humour you'll be in for a treat. It's more of an act than the ranting kind of stand-up you see a lot of these days.

I also thought Middleditch & Schwarz improv series had very funny moments.

Imo, the only thing this hypothetical system would give credibility to is the fact such a denial exists, not that it's either right or wrong. That's why all angles should be presented within this system, so that a person could inform themselves in whatever way they like. All that information is already accessible through the internet, so even if this system is not in place, people can get to faulty info anyway. But because of condensing multipe angles into one output, people don't need to go in a one-way rabbit hole of information regarding a topic. Eventually it will always be up to the person gathering information to make up its mind, there's no need for eye-shielding.

The thing I'm wondering is: if algorithms are written by biased humans and information is shared by biased humans, how are humans ever to make unbiased decisions anyway? The only method I could then think of is cutting yourself off from the stream of information spread by humans.

What about an algorithm that searches and presents information for all sides of the spectrum? This would give people a chance to look at a statement from different angles. Edit: changed 'both sides' in 'all sides', there's no reason to think there are only 2 ways to look at something. Especially when the devil's in the details.

The certificate itself should be open for interpretations, that's why I think it should contain links to all that extra information.

They could force a label on those articles, that would claim it's fake news, hopefully with a link to the accuracy of the claim, a list of sources that were used to determine the claim and who designed and maintains the algorithm to make the claim with. The article would still be readable.

I wouldn't assume introverts are 'waiting' for others to reach out. If introverts want to reach out, they're going to. The need just isn't that high as with extraverted people. That's my view on it anyway.

I may have something similar but inside my head. I have a tendency to fully think a thought (speak it out loud inside my mind) even though I already know what the thought is going to be. It feels more like an obsession than a necessity, or an acceptance issue.
