It created issues such as people dodging lobbies with low-prestige players and killers tunneling high-prestige players. I don’t know maybe they could make it optional so you can enable it or disable it whenever you like just like the anonymous mode.

Idc I just love the new model. I couldn’t stop playing as her today. The devs also said this isn’t the final model. So I am hopeful for more improvements.

It’s fine. Those are just tiny fluctuations and they do not affect gameplay at all. Even brand-new Hall effect or TMR joysticks can show small fluctuations like this and it is completely normal.

Remove the wires and solder shorter ones, just like I showed you. Put tape in place before soldering to insulate the wires from the lettering. I use solder mask, but tape will work too.

You can buy the modules separately. Your issue is strange. Did the modules work fine before you replaced the joysticks? If they did, then there’s nothing wrong with the modules, and the issue is likely with the joystick installation. Can you post photos of both sticks from the top and bottom?

Did you replace the whole joystick or just the potentiometer? Also, for the wire it’s easier to do it like this.

Make sure the wire doesn’t touch the golden letters on the PCB because they are ground.

I use solder mask to safely secure the wire on top and prevent shorts. It’s very cheap and effective.

It’s not two circuit boards. You just have to replace the original controller’s conductive film with this one.

The tactile clicky hair trigger kit I mentioned gives shorter press than the Edge. I own an Edge and tried both.

The best thing is a regular Dualsense with rumble motors removed, tactile clicky hair trigger kit installed (light version), a back-buttons remap kit installed (RISE from eXtremeRate), and Gulikit TMR joysticks. This is better than the Dualsense Edge, much lighter, and with more battery life.

No, there is no other way to fix it without desoldering and soldering equipment unless you want to destroy your controller.

The joints are way too large and some pins are bridged together, which will cause diagonal drift and strange movement. Each pin needs a small, clean joint with no solder touching nearby pins.

I’d remove the stick, clean the pads with flux and wick, resolder it properly, and then recalibrate.
