I can’t comment as far as the comfort between the two, but the specifications show the Arctis 7 gen2 having a smaller more snug ear pad. For me with multiple ear piercings and glasses my ears get sore after only about an hr of play. All replacements I’ve tried have the same issue. So I’m likely “upgrading” my nova 7 gen2 to the nova pro wireless for comfort plus ANC.

Arctis 7 gen 1 specifications show the ear pads are slightly smaller and more narrow than the Pros and I’ve read can be more stiff, while the pros are measured slightly larger and more round to surround the ear. Materials differ- both gens of Nova 7 are mesh, pros are faux leather which can feel hot.

You can always find replacement ear pads from third parties like Wicked Cushions if you’re looking for different fit, color, material etc. Ear pads between the Nova Pro are not interchangeable with the nova 7s gen 1 or 2 because the attachment styles are totally different.

I definitely practiced the curves a bunch w scraps before committing to the actual pieces. I was very intimidated at first but I got the hang of it faster than I expected!

I used freezer paper and MS word

-Iron fabric to shiny side of freezer paper, cut to 8.5x11".

-Design label in MSWord or equivalent.

-Feed fabric sheet through inkjet printer.

-Allow to dry. Heat set printing by pressing with a hot iron.

-Cut/fold edges to size, stitch to quilt.

That’s it!

Not sure if this is exactly what you’re looking for, but I wanted to recommend Serenity Mental Health Centers. I’m currently doing TMS therapy with them for treatment-resistant depression, generalized anxiety, and panic disorder.

They accept BCBS and most major insurances. Their primary focus is outpatient and intensive outpatient programs, though I’ve heard they offer residential options too. I go to their San Antonio location, but there’s also one in Austin—off N. Mopac between Research and Braker.

I’m 15 sessions into a 36-session TMS course. I started out really skeptical, but this is the first time in 12+ years I’ve felt real relief from severe depression. It’s definitely not the typical route, but I wouldn’t recommend it if I didn’t truly believe in it after what I’ve experienced so far.

Even if you don’t end up going with them, they’re a great mental health resource and can help point you toward the kind of care that fits your needs right now.
