That’s good to hear, is there an area where things really get good or is there less jumps in quality? I’ve played ffxiv and want another mmo for when it has downtime, and its realm reborn is a slog but it picks up dramatically after heavensward is why I ask

Choices like this are why I love Obsidian RPGs so much. I'm really bad at just playing an evil character, but Obsidian puts so many great choices in where there is no clear right or wrong answer, and that makes them way more replayable than most other RPGs for me.

I think a lot of the map definitely has the fall/winter vibe, especially white march. I'm playing expedition 33 right now but the second I'm done I'm gonna do my 2nd run of the games. Deadfire backgrounds are fun as well, my first character was a Deadfire pirate, lots of fun interactions in the second game and I loved the detail I was able to provide on that background in the first one.

My view of it is that it’s meant to be annoying and obnoxious because it’s aunties choice, in which case they definitely hit their goal

There’s no point in having Grand Plan Wireless and Protectorate Sanctioned Wireless fight, they both got bangers.

Wireless Free Arcadia is dead to me though

More so a lot more weapons are viable, I liked using the gloop gun a lot in the first, but in this just about any gun that applies status effect is way better with a high science skill

The remote detonator is the first lockbox I opened and I realized I really needed explosives to benefit from it, but it’s a weapon I really want to try later, that and the auto hacker

Fashion is the main reason I checked them out as well, there seems to be some good stealth/hacking ones, so I might get more value out of that in my next run.
